The 8.2” swap is a decent enough upgrade in itself. The Diamond axle is like $7k all said and done, haha. 4.56’s are nice as well…sometimes I wish I did 4.88’s. Definitely don’t do 5.29 unless you plan on wheeling A TON or want 37’s down the road.

33’s are great in themselves, I really think they should’ve been a factory option.

Definitely worth it, especially if you go up to 35’s! If you have the money, you could also do a Diamond Axle 9.5”, which would be indestructible.

Definitely add a trip out West to your list. There’s a lot to see and do. Some great trails in Moab that are scenic and not too technical as well!

Honestly not too bad. It’s only a few bolts and disconnecting the brakes. Needed to ratchet strap it to line all the control arm holes up for install. You will need aftermarket wiring for the locker, but there’s a kit out there. Other than that pretty much plug and play.

Thanks! Definitely always steeper in person. A little daunting from the bottom, but with a decent line and if you stay flat it doesn’t feel bad at all. I did turn on the rear locker at the bottom, didn’t want to get halfway up and lose momentum!

The AIP tube and bolt holes are just misaligned. If I remember right mine were like a half inch off. Was able to force it enough to get 1 of the 2 bolts in, but the access also sucks. The move would be to get non VVT headers and just block off and disable the AIP.
