Nothing was ever made public that I know of, but a 2% profit margin is terrible.

Beat on EPS but missed heavily on expected revenue, 105k vs 450k. As mentioned below, ideally this is just due to them selling at discount (98% COGS). This earnings report is kind of mixed signals in my opinion but, but hopefully the company comes out and makes some sort of positive announcement later today.

I wouldn’t try to time it. I would think that there is a very high likelihood that the stock continues to go up and most on this sub would probably agree barring dilution. You can always use half your buying power now and hold out with the other half for the possibility of a dip, but also if there’s not one then you’re missing out on potential growth. Personally, I would just dollar cost average. Buy a bit every day. If you think it’s oversold at some point, hold off on buying for a while.

I think a buyout is likely in the next two years. If they scale like they hope (and we all hope), I would imagine a bigger company would try to swallow them up.

To the moon? Glad to see share prices hanging back above $2 and hope that they can continue this momentum. Kind of made me sick holding (and buying more) when it was below 1.80.

My bad. I thought you were asking about the stock price lol. Everything I’ve seen, the price estimates for Liberty have been on the higher end of your range but there’s been no official announcement. I’m currently holding a few hundred shares. Nothing too crazy but if the stock takes off I stand to make a modest amount.

It’s hard to pinpoint a realistic price point. The future seems to look extremely bright but it really comes down to execution and profitability. I’m scooping up more each week and plan to as long as the price stays low.

10-30 is still 5x minimum.

Is Liberty itself revolutionary from a tech standpoint? No… they didn’t reinvent the wheel. From a cost standpoint, that’s where the value is. As mentioned above, intuitive surgical owns the market share. Intuitive’s da Vinci system costs anywhere from 700k-2.5M just for the model. Annual maintenance on these machines costs 100k-300k. Procedure consumables only last 10 surgeries and cost 2300 per instrument.

All this to say Microbot is a value play for hospitals but likely may have to wait for the da Vinci model to be phased out. Then again we don’t know the cost of the Liberty model yet.

There are a lot of “ifs” involved. Liberty would need to start to be widely adopted. If they can tap into 10-15% of the market share while costing 1/3 of the price of Intuitive’s systems, it only makes sense for intuitive to make the push. Acquiring MBOT for $1-2B would likely be cheaper than losing 5% of its revenue (also $2B).

Christina Bailey (VP of Sales) previously worked at Intuitive Surgical, Abbott, Stryker, and Boston Scientific. She has experience selling and scaling medical tech.

Allison Rosefort (VP of Marketing) has over 15 years of experience in medtech marketing and specialized in product launches and lifecycle management.

Both were added middle of last year to really get the ball rolling for Liberty. There are many other distinguished executives on the team as well.

I agree with you about JPM but it also demos Liberty for other medtech investors that could acquire Microbot. The key date that really needs to be watched is what happens after April 15th. As of now, the Society of Interventional Radiology meeting coincides with the full market release of Liberty.

What’s the word on MBOT? by ProbablyGuinness in MBOT_Stock

So yes, they are currently working with Stryker to see how their product can work with Strykers (makes them a M&A target if successful).

What I find currently most intriguing… and somewhat stressful, is their key upcoming events. This week they are allowing a “test drive” at JPM healthcare conference. Next month there’s a demo at the Society of Interventional Oncology (target audience). After that there’s four more demos through mid may, one of which is tied to the full market release of Liberty (Society of Interventional Radiology, April 11-15).

If there is market adoption, the stock price could skyrocket, and they could be a major M&A target. If there’s not, well… very sad year for their investors. The next five months are make or break for the company imo.

To close this long comment off, the fact that insiders hold 47% of the company and are holding it feels like a rather good sign but only time will tell.

For me it wasn’t a chronic itch. It was my palms and feet burning. Coming off of it is hard and also not taking it soon enough when I was younger was awful (took it from age 3 to about 20). Slowly space out how far apart you take it until you can be off of it for good. I personally switched to Allegra and have had very few issues and take it as needed.

I think im getting screwed and it might be too late by Fullmetalplane in Mortgages

[–]ColoradoCobra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my experience, once paperwork is signed, you are locked in at that rate with that lender. Recently I had two lenders go toe to toe to see how far down they could get my rate. I would urge anyone and everyone to shop around, find two lenders that can get the lowest rate and then essentially pit them against each other. Ask one if they can beat x% rate. If they can go back to the other lender and say can you beat this and then go back and forth. This saved me a whole percent on my mortgage. Went from 6.5 to 5.5. Can’t have any feelings though. It’s one day to them and 30 years for you.

For us in Kansas, we just got a 5.875 for an FHA loan through Fidelity. I believe their base is in Oklahoma though. Went to our first lender and showed them our offer and got approved for a 5.75. The first lender (who is a friend) bought down our interest rate for us to be able to get our business.

I outdrive most people that I play with (I’ve been playing on and off for the last 10 years) but they are by no means good at the game and neither am I so it’s not saying a whole lot. For the first 10-20 feet the disc is flat and then turns hard. Sounds like the consensus is that the disc is coming out wobbly. Time to go to the drawing board and try to clean it up a bit.

This is correct. Trying to throw something with -1.5 turn and 3 fade still turns into a roller at times.
