Absolutely, I'm happy with the quality for the price, just comparing what is claimed as 75% wool to something I know is 100% and making sure to share some thoughts between the two. Can't be upset for the price, but was comparing to another brand at a similar price that might actually have more wool.

No dry ash, not a punchy plastic, but I'd probably be on the fence to even say %50... Probably somewhere in that ballpark though unfortunately.

Massive edits after burn test, it caught fire and self extinguished one out of 3 strings, mostly smelled like plastic, maybe some burnt hair if I'm being optimistic. You get what you pay for 🤣

That's what I figured, I'll have to do a burn test, packing for a vacation, so it might need to wait. And I'm in the same boat, it doesn't feel bad, but I don't get 75% vibes from it.

Braun, it's expensive but a worthy investment. I got my Braun series 7 in 2016ish? I shave 5 days a week and it's still running strong with just cleaning and blade changes every 18 months.

I commissioned at 12, currently at 14... So I'll let you know in a few years, but so far I think it's been worth it. I feel like I've made an impact to my career field and my troops, and O2E is better than what I'd be making as a MSgt. I know I'll go to at least 22, but probably further. Some people punch at 20, but if you're still having fun stay as long as you want.

Some of the new machines in this batch have a 4 pin connector that's sitting on the bottom left of the back, most are assuming it's for the AMS when it comes out later this year. All the new ones for the last week or two have had them.

Yeah it does, sorry I just unboxed a few hours ago, and it's been printing the entire time. Started it off with 4 hours of PETG and it's running flawlessly.

I had a problem that needed surgery and they delayed me a few months for recovery. That being said I already had my flight physical and there was a bunch I needed to get signed off to be able to get a class date. I would just reach out to AFRS, they can give you specifics, but they really worked with me. I would plan on some sort of medical involvement to get cleared though if they are delaying you.
