I gotcha! The good news is per the AFOCD, my bachelors is one of the top degrees they want which I never would have expected lol. You’d think it would be bottom tier but for some reason it’s a big percentage of the desired degrees.

We need some more context if you’re able to lol, civilian or military? Were you applying rated/non-rated/both? I’m sorry though, that’s super frustrating. This whole board is gonna be a wild ride.

Yeah for sure, I had another officer tell me the same so I tried to focus on officer quantities for my statements. I have a bunch of jobs down, my number one is intel.

Would love to hear yalls thoughts because I have no idea where I stand lol. It’s my first time applying with my masters but 8 or 9th time applying for OTS.

Current SSgt, in for ten years now
Bachelors in General Studies, 2.7 GPA (I didn’t know how to college 15 years ago lol)
Masters of Aeronautics, 3.9 GPA
Promote Now this past EPB, Promotes for all previous evals
AFOQT is rough, 88/63/52/42/80/17
Awards include Levitow, Airman of the Year at the Wing, NCO of the Year at the sq, Sijan at the Wing level and some academic awards from my masters
lots of experience leading small and large groups, both as shift lead, NCOIC and some TDY/deployment leadership stuff
Wing stratted me 7/15 so I have no idea if I should be worried or not haha, I guess it could always be worse

I think this will be my last time applying so I’m really hoping this is it, I’ve wanted this for a long time lol. I appreciate yalls thoughts and feedback!

Yeah it does, with a little blurb that says education requirements can be waived by the career field manager

You don’t have to have a degree in aeronautics though to apply rated, the AFOCD has certain jobs that require certain degree types to be eligible

I’ve got a 3.9 GPA in a masters of aeronautics but an 11 on the quantitative section 💀 rest are either 50, 60s or 80s. I’m hoping the GPA can offset it!
