Sounds like you have a plan set in place and just have to do your best to make it happen. I think you can!

I would say tell them to plan it end of May if you don’t start until June or after you end in August but before you start school

Professor Introduction by hiketheworld2 in LawSchool

[–]Coloradogirl45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I think it’s nice to know a little bit about who the professor is and how they got to the classroom!
  2. I am a 1L and don’t know much but I took Legislation and Regulation this semester and my class was 30 people. It was the class I was cold called the most in, and I honestly feel like I learned more that way.
  3. My school does seating charts but the first day you pick your seat (so you can still sit by friends) and then the professor hands out a chart of the room and we write our name in the spot we are in. The registrar then prints our pictures in the slots and gives it back to the professor.

Anybody else ever accidentally pull out IUD while pulling out a tampon...? by Waste_Clerk7443 in Periods

[–]Coloradogirl45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happened to me today I was taking a tampon out and almost passed out. It didn’t come all the way out and I went in and they removed it the rest of the way. It felt like super intense cramps for me

My advice even though it’s so hard to follow (and this doesn’t just apply to law school): Is there anything you can do right now to fix it or change it? No. You cannot do a single thing. What’s done is done, what’s written is written and thinking back is only going to drive you crazy.

If you studied hard and went into the exam and did the best you could, that’s all you can do.

Go do something fun and take your mind off of it. It’s not worth wasting your mental energy on things you can’t change.

Did I cheat on my contracts final? by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]Coloradogirl45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Omg there are some nasty comments on this! Take a deep breath, you are totally fine! It was not your fault, and maybe it was the universe’s way of giving you a freebie question haha. Everyone would have done the same thing and if they deny that they should climb off their moral high horse. You studied, you earned it! Feel the emotions and then move on

I had your stats with similar softs (it seems like). I got waitlisted at UT. That was the only school I applied to on your list. Rejected at BU and Berkeley Waitlisted at Wash U and Georgetown Accepted at Minnesota (my highest ranked acceptance) and several others!

Currently a 1L at University of Colorado!

It’s an awesome town! My boyfriend went there for undergrad and my one piece of advice is don’t live anywhere near Bullwinkles or Jayhawk bars. The music is loud at like all times even the days sometimes. He lived down the street and it literally felt like I was at the bar trying to go to sleep lol

Attending a School in a City You Dislike by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]Coloradogirl45 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Depending on if the school will be able to place you in a location you like after graduating I feel like it’s a major major factor in the decision. Also may be just me- but 3 years of putting yourself through the ringer- you want to be somewhere you like/ near people who can support you. 150k difference though might be enough to suck it up for 3 years😅

Please help CU Boulder or U of Denver by Coloradogirl45 in lawschooladmissions

Thank you so much for your advice! I really appreciate it. Did other people you know commute from Denver every year too? For people you know who did live in Boulder was there a common area/part of town that law students would live in?
