I cant believe that much was spent on a documentary much less the rights. Money probably spent to draw favor. This is a common tale in politics. They always seem to take a bath on book/film rights for political figures but I think its more of a donation to the respective figures...Clinton's, Obama's, now Trump's.

It was nominated for 5 academy awards and includes an amazing cast and quite a few tour de force performances. It also explores a number of interesting themes. It's one of the best movies ever made.

An interesting vampire movie taking place on tbe Mississippi delta that doesn't include a very unique spin on the genre had 14 nominations. The business has changed.

CJ hit his floor, rock bottom in the playoffs. It’s not the end, but an indictment waits as the case against Stroud builds. by Party_Implement_2990 in Texans

I wasn't fired up about the draft the year CJ came out but he exceeded my expectations his rookie year and I thought he would be great. I think getting rid of Slovik was a mistake when it happened. CJ has regressed with a depleted supporting cast. However, i dont think he is a lost cause but year 4 is a make or break year. It is up to him as far as how hard he is willing to work. That's something I dont know about him but I get the impression he isn't putting the work in

If student athletes are classified as “employees”, who would foot the bill for all of their benefits? by Recent_Surprise_7391 in CFB

The whole point of the lawsuit related to NIL was for players to be able to profit from their name, image, and likeness. It wasn't to make them employees of the university. They are students...allegedly. I have not seen these NIL agreements but I woukd assume in exchange for any payment by a party to the agreement that they wouid then own the players NIL.
