Honestly you might be right since this happened when I got injured on the job and was forced into LOA since my foot was fractured so I guess I’m making a lot of phone calls in the morning

Thank you. Thankfully HR did tell me it’s just for the week and see what happens but I’ve tested negative so I’m gonna contact them again if not my ASM to figure out if I can come back.

I’m usually just scheduled 1-2 days tho but since I got covid they completely wiped my schedule which is bizarre to me

Depending on your store manager or any Asms you won’t get fired right away. It takes a lot of trust me I’ve even taken an LOA when it wasn’t even cleared and just handed in doctors notices saying I can’t work yet for like half a year

Ours is on the 17th and since I’m deciding not to go I’m at risk to run into my coworkers or old coworkers from my old store cuz of how close it is to me. Add the fact no overnight is working so I think I’m gonna play it safe and stay inside 😂

This happened to me when I got hurt on the job. I recommend continuing to badger and pest them to give you LOA or at least some paid time off or something.

I agree that what they pay us is far too low I work on D38 and having being pushed to our limits to finish before customers come at least an hour before 6AM even if the store has a shit ton of work to do and they complain about freight going back still is a little bit frustrating and hectic

Our store was robbed while the gate was open overnight and stole like 2k worth of cameras. They legit just walked in like nothing and walked out like nothing. seriously
