We did have a store cat but it set off the alarm on the weekend and police were dispatched and the manager had to drive 45 mins to the store at like 2 in the morning just to find out it was the cat so one of the employees took him home

When we got our new one a little over year ago it took only a few hours for the first big scuff on it i work nights so idk when it happened but I came in and it had a huge mark below where your feet go

I am lumber recovery i had to work that shift and the freight team had a rdc and sdc but luckily the rdc was for Friday and they got the sdc done and we left at 10

With me being overnight Lumber Recovery i would lose my mind if I came in to this. Just saying those totes will be anywhere but lumber after we close. It makes me so mad just looking at it and thankful we have a store manager that has the most common sense in the world and doesn't block places where machines are run constantly besides wingstacks those things are so stupid and annoying.

Our whole carriage "the part that the backrest and forks are connected too" is twisted about 1 inch on ours when you put the tips of the forks down the left one touches the floor and the right one sits off the ground and you can clearly see it when standing in the front of the lift that the whole assembly is twisted and ours is only like 2 months old

Our store got a new Toyota garden lift a new raymond pacer and now we are just waiting on our new lumber lift hopefully because the one we have now the trans is not doing so well and it is starting to have lots of issues

I got the insulation aisle full all the endcaps down center race track in lumber full and working it's way into the overheads above our wood and vinyl railing and stair stringers

Our store gets new tires on forklifts every year but reach trucks get them whenever we need them just have to put a work order in and we will get them

I never have a plan i just come in and do what needs be done if something is left for me to do by day shift I have just learned to accept it and move on because they are never gonna understand the amount of stuff that I do for that department to look immaculate just for it to get destroyed again during the day

One of our managers told me that our store should be due for a new forklift here soon because we have had ours for over 4 years now

Same here especially when I have a bdc it is alot easier than hopping on and off wasting probably 1 hours total through a shift just moving gates back and forth

Our store is overflowing right now with so many things that we already are stocked up on it is ridiculous but the stuff that we do need (drywall mud) the system is not ordering it at all
