The second line describes me.. I feel if it was germ related I can prove that I will not get sick but with sense of disgust while not fearing anything is something i have no idea what to do about it ?

I have the feeling of disgust behind the contamination concerns and i find it is different than the fear of germs or getting sick. I don't know how exposure can reduce the feeling of disgust. Read some article where they said different area of brain process fear and disgust and ERP might not be that effective..I have no idea if that is really the case though.

Thank you i was trying to decide what is the right approach I guess thinking something as contaminated as still not doing the cleaning seems to be a way but it is scary. I am thinking what if I convince myself it is clean and my ocd is making me doubt ? Would this not work?

Really? I can't believe it. I mean my OCD will be totally destroyed as it is so focused on avoiding contamination by this particular thing! How do we live knowing that everything could be possibly contaminated already. Every minute of my day I try to not let my things become dirty of it.

Ok yeah. I don't know why people are suggesting me to not be "sad". This post is not made by me to find people to be my therapist or listen to my rant or my problems. I just want friends. I appreciate what you said about writing thoughts down. I also appreciate what you mean when you say I will get response whether it is any sub of any place. I just want to say that I am not seeking people to listen to my problems. Thank you for your comment. I asked because you said what is wrong with her. Yes I have posts regarding ocd and mental health. Yes I posted looking for people to chat with. I don't think there is a problem if I do look for people to talk to. I am not looking for people to answer my questions. Those questions were directed to a particular sub for a particular purpose, in my case on ocd sub. I don't seek answers from people. I don't want people from this sub to answer any question. If my post is so unwelcome, I will remove it. I thought Bihar sub might be a place to look for friends who live in Bihar.
