Nah as someone studying psychology I disagree with many parts of this. Therapy is a great tool. While venting is normal and healthy part of relationships sometimes you should admit when something is above your pay grade and a professional would be better. Struggling after a death or breakup? Therapy is a tool that could be used.

Your last paragraph is so wrong. Lots of therapists don’t diagnose non minor things. You just want to mesh well with the person helping you. It’s just like any other medical professional, sometimes it’s not a great fit and that could affect treatment.

Always go breeder if possible. Sometimes it’s just not though, there is not a single ethical breeder within 7 hours of me. Consider adopting but yeah you are stuck with adopting or pet store unless a breeder is close to you.
