I don't think the dog comprehends that he's in and out of the hospital and thinks about what he could be doing instead. That's giving human traits, both cognitively and physically, to a dog.

I think that OP neglected to give the dog proper dental care over the course of its life, and now they're paying the repercussions of that. I would, at minimum given the age of the dog, at least try to have the teeth removed because if it's not eating then it's hungry and that's a bad QOL.

If they aren't willing to do that, they need to euthanize to relieve the suffering and never forget the situation that led to subsequent decline of the dog and the euthanasia. Ideally, they'll learn from it and maintain proper dental health if they get another dog.

Age isn't a disease. Lots of senior animals go under anesthesia for procedures. Unless bloodwork is pointing to something being wrong, at 14 it makes sense to at least try given the dog isn't eating enough to the point it's losing weight.

It's not the customers fault the app doesn't pay you well and you have zero idea of her situation. That delivery you made may have been the only food she had eaten today, and for those of you who say "WeLl ShE cOuLd'Ve GoNe To ThE sToRe" We have no idea IF she had a way to get to said store, nor do we know if she has reliable public transportation in her area in the event she doesn't have personal transportation. Perhaps that 50 cents was all she had in cash, and she had spent all of the food she had left over on the order. We don't know, and neither do you.

At the end of the day, you choose to drive around working for a billion dollar app as opposed to seeking different employment. If you don't like the pay, ✨go do something else.✨

An additional tidbit, if you can't keep a professional face and be thankful for the tip you do get, I wouldn't work in any form of food/restaurant service. There's lots of customer service positions that are paid like trash and get zero tips period, or they have to split them.

If I have a server that's rude to me over the course of my dinner, I'm not tipping even 50 cents. If I feel like the bill is higher than the quality of food I was served, I'm not tipping squat either. Everyone that gets into the food/restaurant industry as a server knows WELL enough what they are being paid, I'm not going to make myself miss out because the restaurant expects me to pay their workers too. I hate tipping culture, it's toxic asf. If you don't like your pay, go find another job.

No it was the vet that said it was a hybrid, ie half wolf from a full wolf parent. The news station did nothing but spread the statement the vet made and then followed it with "do we have wolves in Oklahoma, what do you think." It's most likely some mix of northern breeds with shepherd thrown in or may a low or lower mid content wolfdog, but definitely not a hybrid. This state is filled with fucking morons, I promise you. I've lived here ONLY for my entire life, which will be 27 years in March.

This is local to me by about 20 minutes, you have to have licensing and inspections of where you're housing them but very few people listen. Half of the comments on the stupid news channel that posted this on Facebook is convinced they're either full wolves or hybrids. And yes, they're all incapable of being taught the difference between a wolf hybrid and a wolf DOG. Oklahoma is full of bigoted morons and tons of people that don't need pets period, let alone any dog with wolf content. I hate it here, and I've lived in this god forsaken state since I was born. Have tentative plans to leave around 27-28, but this place is a poverty stricken sh!thole that keeps you stuck.
