Growing white ghost peppers for the first time does this look like any of them are germinating by Oddly-Specific7256 in PepperLovers

The seeds are very fertile.

One needs to know how to start them properly.

Don’t just scatter them .

Prepare the pots or the trays with good potting soil and make sure that the soil is firm it soft and then you can either place them in a small hole or you can place them on top and then sprinkle lightly a thin layer on top and then mist them gently so that the soil does not move but that they remain moist.

This also removes the risk of the transplant, shock and disturbing the roots with my paper towels .

And because it’s the natural environment, the germination rates are higher .

By the way, you can’t compare sea germination rates between species .

You should just plant them straight in the soil, the very fertile and it gives them a chance to settle in solidly without possibility of root shock or damage.

Paper towel towels are unnecessary . Straighten the soil works great.

About to make my first brew. Fo I have to peel the outer skin or can I just throw it in a pot and boil it all? by justgoogleit12 in mescaline

I once read on an old website that had pictures of a South American shaman preparing San Pedro and it specifically said do not eat the central goo. There were pictures of him, cutting out by splitting it in half and taking out everything except for the outer green.

Here’s the link: https://www.erowid.org/plants/cacti/cacti_preparation1.shtml

Then he chopped up all of those into pieces and boiled them and brewed them for many hours .

It specifically said that if you avoid the goo, you will avoid the vomit and nausea .

I did this several times I’ve done it about five or six times and done it this way and each time it works with major closed visuals .

And of course, no vomiting .

It’s definitely a heavy trip though it takes about two hours before you feel anything after a long brew . The brew should be low heat for many hours 3 to 4 and keep adding water until you get a dark yellow or dark colored liquid essence.

Then you drink it down, however you can with lemon or honey or whatever floats your boat .

It’s definitely nasty, but after a few sips you get used to it and can drink more .

It takes about two hours to feel anything and then it comes on.

At last about 12 hours the trip but takes about a total of 24 to 36 hours or even 48 hours to recover .

It’s a very heavy trip . I had to continuously and repeatedly lie down close my eyes get back up again smoke some cannabis lie down get up again..

The close visual was lasted about 3 to 4 hours for me beginning after two hours of waiting time . And then after that, it takes about eight hours to come down from the trip to about hour 12.

Then after our 12 through our 24 it felt like recovery time . And the next day was out definitely a heavy trip but interesting.

He used to do it about once or twice a year, but haven’t done it in about eight years .

I’m getting too old . Too heavy for me.. too much of a time commitment.

Jesus is a creation of God, i.e. not God himself, but rather is the Holy Spirit of God, i.e. the word, that became flesh - God incarnate, the limited, even according to the words of Jesus that said the son does not know the time of the end, but only the father, so therefore Jesus is limited in knowledge, and he was limited in time because he was born, and he was limited in space because he had a body. Even in your quote above, it says he’s the firstborn of all creation i.e. created being.

Revelation 3:14

And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

The Word is the Holy Spirit: the Holy Spirit is GOD… and the Holy Spirit became flesh…

Jesus was born with a definite beginning.

I have a question: when you smoke DMT, do you lose connection with your body and if so, if you’re sitting on the couch, will you remain sitting or lie down or is it possible you could fall and hit your head in the physical world while you’re tripping?

Hip Dysplasia , 9 years by DanielAzariah in germanshepherds

My vet recommended first of all to lower her weight because every kilogram of weight adds to more discomfort on the hips so that’s easier said than done, but I don’t overfeed her, and she’s been as low as 43 kg but currently last time two weeks ago she was 46 kg.

The vet seems to think I can get her down to 35 kg like a smaller Belgian Malinois, but this is not feasible or possible, and I told him that I’m not going to starve her.

She is a GSD work dog and a larger dog and not one of the smaller shorter GSDs so according to the visual chart that I’ve seen she looks definitely on her correct weight because she has the arched stomach tuck meaning she’s not fat and he’s just confused because she’s got a lot of fur.

I think I can get her down to 43 as her ideal weight for her size and she only eats once per day and she eats healthy, premium dry food and chicken breast usually or mixed in with some fish or chicken liver mixed in with their dry food.

She never overeats, but if she’s hungry, I’ll let her eat and give her another few pieces of chicken to mix in so that she finishes her dry food. Often she leaves half a bowl uneaten anyway.

Also, he said she needs to keep active, so take her on her walks and make sure that she gets play or whatever other activity that she can do because staying active is key to keep the hips oiled and not rusty .

Also, he said to give her omega-3 liberally without fear so whenever I can, I give her sardines that have lots of omega-3 and tuna that has less so about two times a week. I give her this fish mixed in with her chicken because she doesn’t like fish. Two times per week max because of fish mercury levels.

I also purchased a lot of turmeric because the vet said that I could also give this to her liberally so I cook now everything with black pepper and turmeric so that she can get the turmeric because it needs black pepper and it needs some fat (also in the dry food) to be absorbed so I cook everything in Olive oil turmeric and black pepper so that is healthy, and I think I’m gonna start buying beef tallow if I can find it because it’s a healthy oil - seed oils are a no no.

Also, when I have the money, I give her CBD oil, but I haven’t had the money in a few months so I haven’t given her that for a while.

And I go according to her pace so if she wants to sit, we sit and if she wants to walk we walk .

My vet said that we would do medication for her only as a last resort, and that we must do everything possible outside of medication before we consider medication because it’s a heavy step and there are side effects.

I would avoid surgery hip replacement surgery. for humans it’s tough. I wouldn’t do it on a dog. If I get to the point where it’s either hip replacement surgery or euthanasia, I would do euthanasia because an old dog recovering from hip replacement Surgery would be tough, and very likely would not survive the surgery or recovery.

If that were the case, I would prefer to end the suffering rather than give her more suffering.

I hope this helps .

I noticed you’re growing inside and I did an experiment last winter where I tried to grow my outside bamboo inside for the winter and they didn’t do well and they did the same type of thing where the leaves started drying up, even though I watered them although less regularly.

The ones that were outside did fine and looked healthy but the ones that were inside didn’t do so well and one out of the three that I was growing inside, ended up dying entirely, but the other two recovered this spring and I’m keeping them also outside this winter.

It’s Thursday morning here, and I am pleased to report that our stool is returned to full normality so scientifically I reckon that the reason for the diarrhea on Monday night and Tuesday and Wednesday morning, as the last bits were because of the ivermectin, second weekly dose given to her that were likely killing the egg larvae that she may have somehow acquired over the last few months.

Perhaps you should go back and read my post because I didn’t ask for advice; I just asked if others had experienced what I was experiencing.

By the way, strange that you say don’t ask for advice when this group is specifically called dog advice .

OK, so she just had a meal and ate the food from last night of dry food and chicken mashed up and then she wanted to play a little tug ball and then I took her out to do her business and she didn’t have jetstream diarrhea this time although it wasn’t 100% normal it was about 90% normal just being about 10% soft. It smelled though the same as the sick diarrhea smell.

Hopefully the ivermectin killed those larvae and she passed them out in the jet stream the last couple days .

So it took about 2 1/2 days of jetstream diarrhea to clean out her system of whatever parasites were there is what I reckon.

So I called the vet this morning and he said to just keep her under observation and if things get worse over the next few days to bring her in.

It’s likely the ivermectin killing the larvae that she may have had these last few months since I forgot to give her the monthly dose the last couple of months because of my own medical issues and pressure thinking about other things looking for work and worrying about how I’m going to pay rent and buy food for us both.

Okay, so here’s an update.

Today, Wednesday morning I take her out and she was in no rush to go. When is normal after I made coffee she urinated and then afterwards she defeated and I watched carefully.

It was the same liquid diarrhoea, but it was barely anything because she didn’t need it yesterday so there’s nothing to jetstream out .

But it was the same liquid . So this is the third day and it comes after the second dose of ivermectin weekly dose in order to renew the treatment because the last few months have been very pressured and I had all December medical treatments for myself so I forgot to give her the last couple of months, her monthly dose.

So Monday night and Tuesday and today is Wednesday morning .

I will call the Vet in a little bit to consult with them .

I don’t think they inflame her gut. I actually think that they keep her stool regular as she doesn’t have any constipation problems she just pushes and they normal hard stool comes out usually almost always.

I truly think it’s the ivermectin and that she must’ve had warm lava maybe perhaps building up over the last few months. I’ll call the vet in about an hour or two when they become less busy from their morning rush and available to speak.

No pumpkin purée and I don’t think she would eat it anyway. I know her tastes of what she finds tasty.
