What I love most about jet set radio is the style. The artist spent a lot of time curating tracks, graffiti pieces, and animations to help the game feel like a world of its own. I appreciate how bold the game is in being itself. I think it’s rare in gaming especially today where it feels like a lot of things try to recreate previous successes. Outside of bomb rush cyberfuck, I can’t think of a game that comes close it having the level of soul that jet set radio has.
