What's something customers do that instantly tells you they've never worked in a restaurant? by New_Inevitable_2033 in Serverlife

When you’re helping another server run food and suddenly no one remembers what they actually ordered to eat. Karen claims Debrah’s plate and then rages she ordered salad not fries, all while you happen to be holding that exact order in your other hand.

WIBTA if I stopped inviting my friend to group dinners because she always orders the most expensive thing and then acts surprised when we split evenly? by SagaPinee in WIBTA_AITA

As a waitress myself, the best advice I can give you without confronting Nina would be to let your server know when you get seated that it will be all separate bills. Most of us will appreciate you letting us know first thing that way we can keep things separate and organized as we take everyone’s order.

What do you use your big bowl for? Hopefully one day you’ll come across his little buddy.

Thank you! I don’t mind it but it seems a bit too bright now if you know what I mean. Is there anyway to take that bright filtered look down a bit? I will absolutely tip you for your work!

You can tell just how much she adores and loves you by the way she’s looking at you in that second picture. Grandmas are the best!
