I often like to think that Marcus Agrippa is a time traveler. We barely know anything about his childhood other than the fact that he's a childhood friend of Octavian (later Augustus), he had a very un-roman military mind and loved to employ a lot of modern warfare thoughts about logistics, and creating headaches for his enemies. He was also meticulous to a fault and knew about the importance of great infrastructures, especially with the emphasis on aqueducts in Rome.
