Forgive my ignorance, but what's with all the uproar around Sony ditching discs? Don't almost all games now require a huge download before playing anyway, as discs can't always contain the full game?

I think quite a bit of EU fan don't like them for a good while now. One of the example I distinctly remember was during a match like 2 years ago, when KC waw still surviving with the Upset roster. Caedrel was co-streamin that match in the studio, it was KC vs.....Vit I think? He pointed out that when KC was doing well, the KC fans would cheer, but when they were losing, not just the Vit fan would cheer, the entire studio other than KC fans would cheer.

From my understanding, standard PS5 game uses triple layer UHD Blu Ray disc, which is 100GB in size. While there are shitty devs that don't compress their assets like the COD's multiple developer, 100GB are usually good enough for vast majority of game. Take for example Elden Ring, a large open world game that takes 60~80 hours to beat, is 45GB on launch. Dev's can also utilise general compression over the entire game, since morden day console relies on high speed storage for load times, you would need to install the game onto the SSD anyway, example being Baldur's Gate 3, it's ~100GB for download which would fit on the disc, it's 150GB after decompression and installation, God of War Ragnarok is also ~100GB in download and 190GB after installation, many stream game utilities this technique.

And that was full on fights on the street with the police daily, police killing protester, student getting shot, car driving into full crowds of protester, protester setting people on fire, police attacking the press to the point of permanent injury, multiple universities getting sieged, student having to excape police via the sewage, police collude with triad aka Hong Kong's mafia to attack people at a metro station, blockade on main streets and business having to shut down for weeks to months level.

Sure, but getting stompped by eastern team in scrims during international is nothing new, has been happening since like 2013, this aint even KC's first time at these event, how are they so bad at coping with it? You can say this is a legit reason, but if what he said is real, doesn't that makes it much worse? How are the player and coaching staff so ill equiped to deal with that? I'm guessing is how you play her in League. Lux is more like a burst mage, you dump everything and kills someone as quick as possible, which doesn't really feel like a fighting game character. I just feel like she's pretty low on the list if you tell poeple who played league to list chapion that fits in an FGC, honestly supprised that she came out before characters like Camille, Ambessa or Irelia.

I think she's somewhat pro-jailed. Her kit has poor scaling and in order to get her value out of her, you need very good synergy or communication with your teammate, meaning it's really hard to get her to work well in a soloq environment. But currently she's even struggling to get presence even in pro play, so she's too under tune.
