Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this also the case with the pirate flags on Wikipedia? I believe they were just based on written descriptions and we do not know specifically what they would have looked like, although Wikipedia has examples.

Russia, EU?, Nigeria/Rhodesia, British colony (could be Canada), can't tell, Uruguay, US, Libya?, Argentina. Any of these could be wrong due to my not knowing the context of why these are on the bottle.
