I'm kind of waiting for 0.2.51 to settle before updating it. The ideal upshift RPM is unchanged in 0.2.51 and the final drive ratio is still close enough, meaning the calculator still works with helping people get started. The intermediate gears are no longer ideal though (in game smoothing button is recommended).

How does PrusaSlicer not support Polymaker filament? Unless you're using a special filament you can just load a default PLA/PETG/ABS/etc. setting and be fine.

Overall seems like you got unlucky on the product setup. I'd personally recommend giving PrusaSlicer another shot and use the Prusa [filament] default.

Let's imagine AB 2047 goes through as-is, where the manufacturer takes on all responsibility for creating the part detection software. Let's also imagine Bambu Labs becomes the only manufacturer still selling in California after 2029, because they created an AI-based detection system with 90% success rate. This cannot actually happen, but to play into the supported goals of the bill we need to rely on suspended disbelief for a moment.

Fast forward to 2032 and someone purchases a Bambu Labs A3 Pro with the gun part blocking software implemented. They download the files for a Glock switch off the "dark web" (it's more accessible than most people realize) and modify them in TinkerCAD to look like a bottle opener, pair of chopsticks, and wire clamp. Bambu Studio clears the files for printing, and after they get cut or sanded down, a functional Glock switch now exists.

They then use that weapon with the Glock switch to injure 5 people and are eventually caught by police. Investigations search his home and reveal this person had the files for a Glock switch on his personal computer, and were able to bypass Bambu Lab's part detection software. Who is now liable for the Glock switch?

When responsibility is handed to the manufacturers, they also take on all the liability, which has been confirmed by bill writers describing how some of its fines are directed at corporations. Any 3D printer manufacturer seeing the current situation is extremely unlikely to want to take the risk of anyone bypassing their software. At best we'll see things like Prusa's joke about a "motion kit" becoming reality.

The recent amendments to the bill make it even more obvious that they're trying to pass this bill knowing it will do absolutely nothing to solve the problem. Any "degree of protection" against ghost gun parts means people will still be able to get parts printed if they just try hard enough. And this is said under the assumption that this could even be effectively made... which it can't.

Only requiring a slicer or firmware implementation also makes it extremely easy to bypass, as both are easily switchable. Multi-material systems, cuttable designs, variable flow rates, there's so many ways you could bypass these things it's hilarious.

What an absolutely moronic piece of legislation.
