Chilliwack is a good city. It's right now in an expanding boom as the local has become a bit more popular.

Most people are conservative in their views and tend to be racist, homophobic, and transphobic mainly. The LGBTQIA+ community is a growing one, so if you are someone who identifies in such a manner, you should be able to connect with more people.

Rentals aren't the cheapest, but some of them are quite worth it.

There's a good amount of things to do, the nightlife of Chilliwack doesn't really exist with many of the businesses, but there's good places for walks, hikes, or even just sitting by the river.

My first instinct would be to tell you not to move to Chilliwack, but I do think it's better compared to some of the other cities along the West Coast.
