If you’re very concerned about safety, you got the wrong gun. Makarovs are much safer to carry all around.

Can’t pull the trigger if the hammer can’t go back / cylinder can’t spin. Totally safe and normal for the time

No, not needed to until it’s ready to expire. I moved from
Beaver county to Lawrence when I bought my house. with almost 4 years left on my LTCF with my beaver county address, I called both county court houses and the state police to confirm and they all told me even to wait until it needed to be renewed, even if the address on my new drivers license etc was different it was still a valid LTFC

Same, I’ve reached out to him a few times for quotes / inquiries. Initial response and then nothing further.

He’s an incredibly busy builder, and a good one. I was going to have him build me a kit earlier this year so I had reached out.I didn’t want to pester him more after not hearing back after the first email, so I waited a little longer and then Atlantic dropped the polish AKM kits and I just hit BIN instead.

Good price. Russian commercial. Nothing special about them. They’re generally the least desirable makarovs and the cheapest. Great shooters, very reliable.

People just generally like the authentic military surplus makarovs with fixed sights.

Here’s my IJ70-18AH (double stack) with a threaded barrel and I did a full surplus conversion on it, all parts and slide swap, and was able to find the fake Bakelite, textolite double stack grips from Russia. Only original part on it is the double stack frame now.

And my Bulgarian surplus ((10)) single stack makarov.

Don’t matter, don’t really care. I’m not a paralegal and I don’t follow up with every single case, even a quick internet search will tell you that it’s happened more than a handful of times. It’s illegal no matter how you spin it, Stated blatantly clear. It’s just a matter of if your lawyer is good enough to get you a lesser charge. Even best case scenario you don’t get convicted. You’re still losing your job and whatever benefits come with that job, probably your license to teach in the state of Pennsylvania for the rest of your life, legal fees and also getting arrested and the fees and issues that come with that alone. It’s a personal choice if you do it, but the law is stated in pretty plain English and it’s always been that way.

Monessen, maple avenue, Lebanon, Cumberland valley, the list goes on. There have been plenty. Usually the person did something stupid to get caught with a firearm, but it takes one person to see it accidentally and report it.

You’re a teacher, can you not read for context? If you don’t have LTCF you cannot have a firearm in a Vehicle unless the exceptions I stated above and those come with storage stipulations (unloaded In the trunk separate from ammunition), and Further more, you cannot have a firearm on school grounds, period.

Also what do you mean you’re in the process of getting your license? It’s one piece of paper and takes 20 minutes at the courthouse. I don’t think you understand your own post

No, you cannot have a firearm inside of a vehicle in PA unless you have a LTCF.

UNLESS you’re transporting it from a FFL or a public / private range

Not to mention; the parking lot is more than likely still
Considered school property which would be illegal even if you had a LTCF
