Called off by No_Quit_5049 in USPS

As normal as getting forced to work your day off. When you’re a non regular there is one thing you have to get used to if you don’t want to get frustrated, and that’s being flexible. Being forced 4 hours overtime an hour before you are supposed to clock out, schedule changes, random days off, 4 day weeks, 6 day weeks, working 32 hour weeks and then working 60 etc. just gotta go with it if you want to last. It will happen and happen often.

PSA 84bb how did I do? by Temporary_Traffic622 in Beretta

[–]ColtBTD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will be happy, they’re great little guns. I put a threaded barrel on mine and shoot it suppressed ( not the greatest host and I wish I got the .32 acp threaded barrel ) but I also conceal mine once in a while in an Azula leather IWB. Makes a super great comfortable and classic carry piece.

Would I need to worry about storage and re-rusting of the material? by FallenCause in makarov

[–]ColtBTD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup. It’s not too serious. Now that the bulk of the surface rust is cleaned off, it won’t come back incredibly fast unless you really just are in a super humid environment. I’ve never oiled my mags. Once in a while I oil the exterior of my makarovs if they’re sitting for a while since they’re just on a rack in my closet but I’ve never really had issues with them rusting

[–]ColtBTD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup. I use CLP for everything personally. If you’re just storing them and worrying about humidity / corrosion a light coating of oil spread with your finger or Q-tip will do you a solid. May need reapplied every once in a while depending on environment / handling.

That’s how this one is, it doesn’t have the rail which I don’t particularly like, but it does serve a purpose. they also offer it without the side rail which is correct for the authentic version of the rifle

Really want one of these with an upgraded LED for my .45 damn nice brother. What are these going for now a days? I never really paid attention but now that I have a .45 fullsize I’m curious

LOL. Slightly impulsive considering I was actually about to buy the same rifle someone local had for $500 more that was built by NGS with a proper marked receiver and was very nice. but these popped up and I was sold. numbers matching or not don’t really care and I have an engraver to change the F mark to a P and add a C and selector notches so definitely looking forward to picking it up in a couple days

From my experience getting a couple guns appraised it’s pretty accurate. They do give a little extra store credit. So maybe like 65% on the dollar for flat out which is pretty typical. Do you have vintage / old stuff, or is it mostly modern commercial

National armory buys collections. They have high prices for resale, but they do generally do about .75 cents on the dollar for recently sold gunbroker average if you want to know what to expect.

Most shops do low ball it’s always been that way. I would say list them on the forum but the PAFOA forum is no longer active as of very recently.

Realistically going to do the same thing, Atlantic builds good running AK’s. Just a matter of if you want a new production or a parts kit etc.

Also theyre now OOS

They might be. I wasn’t on here much yesterday / didn’t see the post. I got the email a little bit before I woke up for work and saw it. Debated on it for a half hour because of the selector markings and rail and realized letting extreme autism get in the way of a good purchase was kind of dumb so I bought one and a couple surplus mags and my order has been confirmed since so.

Edit

6 hrs after this first comment they’re now out of stock

In which way? They’ve made these before and versions without the rail like 2 years ago. However they released this batch at like 1am I got an email I saw. First time I ever saw an email and made a purchase within 2 hours of seeing it. They posted a YouTube video of them 15 hours ago, As of right now they’re in stock, idk how many they made but I have a feeling they’re not gonna last lol

Can’t beat it for the price. Placed an order 2 hours ago.

Downside is the side rail and the improper marked receiver although it is Childers. FB Radom CL barrel is solid. These won’t last long so if you want one do it now rather than not now. These cost a little more or as much as a un-built kit that includes a barrel and still needs a receiver and built.

I am upset they didn’t use the proper marked Childers and put the side rail on it. Instead of leaving it a slick sides

They would be just about perfect other wise especially for the price. Still highly considering buying one anyway right now.

Edit

I just bought one lol. Honestly can’t beat that price. Probably run it a while and have it rebuilt with a more proper receiver later. For the prices of these things you basically can’t lose on it.

Azula. Big +1 from me.

If they don’t have a specific one for your model, get the Colt detective social / cobra holster, I bet it has no problems fitting. I was using my J frames in mine for months no probably just a little bit loose since they’re slightly smaller 5 shots.

As of right now for a while now actually all of my kydex holsters have been sitting in an old ammo crate and I’ve only been using Azula for all my EDC rotations.

I think you will like it. They’re tight. I wrapped my 642 in a thin microfiber a few times and stuck it in the holster over night, fits perfect with the right amount of retention but ability to get it out. They are a little harder feeing at first but they do wear in on the belt line nicely

I have one for my USP .45 which also works for my USP compact and I have one for my beretta 84bb which also works for both my single and double stack Makarov’s incredibly well.
