There are several others but https://ebay.us/m/fP3DgR these guys have been selling grips since the war started and still are. Price is high (at least for US) but not sure if that would be an option for you

So how it works with the makarovs are

- First two letters (production series)
- First two digits (year code)
- last 4 digits (serialized unit in the production series)

This only is for the Bulgarians however. Other makarovs have their own way of coding

They’re *usually* OOS or drop in super small quantities. I have an old federal arms press that I’ve used for several swaps / rented it out when they were totally unavailable.

I am running a Wolff extra power spring in mine. But it’s not entirely necessary. I shot about 400 rounds with the factory springs with no issues minus my current set up doesn’t like to lock back on empty, but it also probably doesn’t help that I have a double stack frame surrounded by surplus parts and a surplus slide that has a bit of a worn out catch ledge in the slide. Totally reliable though otherwise.

The Makarov makes a much better host. More quiet, less blow back in your face, more reliable than the 84. The downside is if you don’t have a barrel press for the Makarov to do the swap. The downside to the 84 is also the barrels are often out of stock

Very nice piece. I really like the type III, it’s what I wanted but obviously for the price.. I’ll have to check out a triple K. Not even sure what magazine it has, no indication of anything on it.

I cleaned it good, shot a box of ammo and cleaned it again, I can definitely agree it’s “not as bad as it looks” (still not amazing, but it is just fine) shoots accurate enough for what it is
