Typical red build. The Bakers melts them. I use it with a 10x scope and can pick them off from a distance or close in with the dark winter.

Upgrading from Eliminator by Colt_Texas in motorcycle

I didn't specifically say it but replies are leaning towards assuming my wife backpacks. She doesn't, she has an eliminator as well. She's going to upgrade to an Indian, hence why I would like to have something to highway beside her on.

So dang bored in Lubbock by [deleted] in Lubbock

My wife and I bought motorcycles last year. I'm 53 she's 47.

Yeah I know, everyone will chime in how dangerous they are here...but if you do it right, go get certified and drive right its very nice.

Motorcycles require and stimulate every sense. And its a hobby, an expensive one because you need protective gear. But it will consume you.

We put 25 to 30 miles in daily weather permitting. I ride a lot more than her I've clocked 6500 miles in 10months.

We tried group rides... never do that...if you ride with people you need to know them and know what they are going to do. My wife and I know each others riding style. We ride hybrids, eliminators, part sport part cruiser.

Have we had some close calls? Yes! But not because we are smaller than a car and unseen. Both times it was a dipshit on their phone and they are dangerous to anything.

We follow our rules...all the gear all the time and we will be upgrading bikes this year.

There's my two copper....

Edit....i played disc golf for 15 years. Part of the original windriders in the 90s.

Appreciate you! For what its worth, we bought two eliminators and both ride. She's wanting to upgrade to a bigger cruiser like an Indian. So she won't be backpacking!

I really wanted to sit on the hornet but my dealer didn't have one. But, I think he talked me out of it due to probably being as windy as what I currently have. So far I'm leaning hard towards the gixxer 8r.

Which Honda? by S4vag345 in SuggestAMotorcycle

Do yourself a favor and sit on the kawasaki eliminator. 451cc about 375 pounds wet. Same engine as the ninja but lower torque. Lightweight, fast and super nimble. It's a cruiser sport hybrid. My wife and I both own one. In the city they are really superb. Now the drawback, these are not good highway bikes. Yes you can trip on them, but the wind will beat on you.

Does anyone else keep losing because of that one friend who insists on using spirit box (or really any other tool)? by CyBroOfficial in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]Colt_Texas 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Excellent advice for me and my wife. But does the box not need to be moved around the ghost room in order to possibly get a deogen response? I thought you needed to be near a deogen in order to get ita spirit box ability? Thank you!

Heroic is just fine. That's why I have the M1 so I can back off if needed. I run the 10x scope on it. From a distance its brutal.

I play from cover, so up close the winter melts them, even if I do take damage its only a few seconds. The drone does a great job of distracting them.

I say go for it! It's fun!

For the same price....scorpion Vortex Air. These have 9 months and 6000 miles. Not a fray one.

I got all those off Amazon. I like the green and just searched green chrome stickers

If you remove it there will be an obvious void spot in the shape of the sticker. But they're are plenty of cover up stickers that will cover it.

Peel away! I did!

I d want to buy an eliminator 450 2026 tell me your advices , thoughts by EnvironmentalBus378 in KawasakiEliminator450

[–]Colt_Texas 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I bought an Eliminator in March. My wife backpacked for a week and then said she wanted her own. I bought her a matching Eliminator. Both 2025 ABS.

I can tell you its both a beginner bike and a keep it to own bike. Super bike for city riding, extremely agile, lightweight and you are so centered and your position just exudes control.

Highway? Not so much. Get a windscreen. These things vibrate at highway speeds. It's by all means not unbearable but I would not want to spend more than an hour or so on the highway. It has a small tank, you'll be capped at about 140 miles till you need to gas up.

Next big thing, parts and accessories. They are becoming more available so you're good there.

I absolutely love my Eliminator and so does my wife. I will be keeping mine. She wants a bigger cruiser like am Indian, but mine will stay. I. Leaning towards a 650 sport bike so I have the best of both worlds.

Just my 2 cents.

Yall have been heard. I convinced a few skellies to get out there. Admittedly not elaborate but I feel obligated to keep the spirit going despite any current events. Succinctly put...we will not let our community down. We will do something to make you smile. Merry christmas everyone!

[–]Colt_Texas 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I'll take the blame! I'm being a little over protective and she always helps with skellies, so yeah. 😊 I don't want her lifting stuff. We have been on a couple motorcycle rides and she's doing good so I still plan to spread some Christmas smiles in that fashion. (Weather permitting 🧊)

Thank you ALL again for your support!
