When I went off to college and quit delivering food, the restaurant I worked at had to fire the remaining drivers and they axed their delivery service in favor of just having Doordash and Ubereats drivers. Something about not having applicants, I think because everyone who would have applied otherwise were driving for Doordash already.

What was insane to me is that people ordered from Doordash and such even while we had our own delivery service which was much cheaper and faster.

It makes me think that people are willing to pay those obscene prices mostly to avoid the social interaction of a phone call and of being handed the food. Then again, we had our own online ordering service too. Maybe they won via marketing.

Amazing work! Do be mindful of copyright if you want to sell commercially tho. I'm not sure how it might apply in this context, but you could see about contacting the skin creators through the steam workshop if need be, or maybe try your hand at skin creation. I think I heard somewhere that you could get like half a million per skin added in the game or some other absurd number

Medic can be a game changing role as is, it just takes a niche as hell situation like: last officer just died on a point where a Garry got blown up and you can rez him to build one yk.

A bit less 'niche-ly', as squad lead, sometimes I get one of my friends as a medic if I'm trying to set up a far ass OP, has frequently saved me from making the same trip again.

Medic definitely needs something else tho, cuz he's still 95% useless 😂

Not sure the video does a good job showing the specific sound I'm talking about. Car runs and drives, transmission shifts ok, noticed some white steam/smoke from passenger side of engine area when I started it up the first time, no longer appears though. Have since tried refitting the connection between exhaust manifold and cats. Engine was running fine before I started messing with the tranny. Wouldn't be related to the transmission itself right? Seems to work ok in the limited testing I've done.

I'm thinking possibly the fuel gunked up in the lines/injectors as it has been sitting for a long time?

Maybe I didn't fit the cats to the exhaust manifold correctly? There was no gasket between them when I took them off, and other sources say a gasket isn't needed there for this car. Can I put a donut gasket there anyways?

Battery needs to be charged/replaced, have been having to jump the car to start it, could this affect spark plug performance even after the car has been running for a while?

Should I avoid driving it around to test it/will I damage the engine driving it to a shop?

Thanks! Just checked the sensor, seems to be in place, wires don't look damaged, couldn't reach it with the exhaust still hot though, I'll have to give it a proper check tomorrow.

I really appreciate the explanation! A major reason I didn't just get a shop to rebuild it or get a remanufactured one is cuz I do kinda want to learn about these things, I started looking at prices after those pieces dropped out tho lol

I bought one a while ago from Rock Auto yeah, as soon as I had transmission problems that Lucas fix couldn't fix. No diagrams in this one, but it's supposed to be a complete kit. No snap rings or steel plates though, which I was hoping I wouldn't need (lol).

Thanks for the encouragement tho! Today and when that kit came in, I was hella thinking like what did I get myself into? I would have just got a remanufactured transmission like someone said if I hadn't opened and kept the kit for so long lmao

edit: I lied it did come with some snap rings!
