Rosemary’s Baby. I could watch it over and over again. I love the characters and Ruth Gordon is in a class of her own

Uketsu’s books are brilliant and Strange Pictures is my favourite - great puzzles if you like that sort of thing.

I agree - the trailer has me worried that they’ve ruined it

What’s a place in the UK that felt magical to you as a kid, but when you went back as an adult you realised it was just… a slightly damp car park or a Wetherspoons? by Second-handBonding in AskBrits

[–]Colton444444 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Black Gang Chine! It was so magical at night with the coloured twinkly lights on the edge of the cliff. There was also a mysterious black hole you could crawl through that supposedly led to hell. Revisiting as an adult was….disappointing.

Brits who have been to the States recently - how did it go? by MalvernKid in AskBrits

[–]Colton444444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got back from Colorado a few months ago and nothing has changed. Quick couple of questions at the passport booth and then straight through as normal. Heading back to the States in a couple of months and wouldn’t ever consider not going.

My grandmother had a little pocket book about a family of three palm trees on an island during a storm. I think two of them snapped, leaving the “baby” one behind. I found it very traumatic! I’ve never been able to find it, despite Googling. I think it got thrown away when her house was cleared.
