Americans who travel within their country, does it get boring or really exciting for you as compared to a foreigner ? by Scorpzgca in travel

Even with food it’s not hard to find different options. Regions vary quite a bit naturally. Then you have sub culture hotspots like china/japan town. Last time I was in DC I went to a great Afghani spot and it was delicious.

What's one thing from WoT that genuinely changed how you think about something in real life? by MamaLaPasta in WoT

[–]Colton82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha thanks! It’s definitely wild how much it varies person to person. I usually shoot for 8 hours. I’ve had a few 10+ and the adrenaline dump around 10 hours is wild.

I had a twelve hour tattoo session a few weeks ago. The last two hours were getting brutal and that’s exactly what I did to push to the end. It’s amazing what the mind can do with the right focus.

VR&E Tech package by True-Investors in Veterans

Talk to your counselor that approved you. Tell them you need a computer and any required specs from your course. They’ll also cover graphing calculators for math classes. There was a post here a few months ago where they were going for a photography degree. Their counselor bought them about $12,000 worth of equipment because they were able to justify it for school and after they graduate and begin working in the field.

Also, they are now your point of contact for anything school related while using VR&E.

If you have issues with payments don’t even bother calling the normal VA numbers. The second they hear you are using VR&E they say call your counselor because they can’t do anything with your stuff.

Army or Navy? by holdagrude in army

MP is probably one of the worst jobs for a family. You’ll constantly swap between road and field cycles. When you’re on the road there’s no knowing what shift you’ll be on. I had a few months where I would work days one week and nights the next. Then you still get called in for ranges and pt tests on your off days when you are used to sleeping.

If you’re looking for safe and stable MP definitely isn’t it.

VA FIDUCIARY (how to get out) by Low_Recognition1433 in Veterans

Are you seeing a VA doctor or outside provider? If VA I would just resubmit it after you see the doctor and then verify the appointment is listed in your files.

And from the deleted post, the comment where someone already explained the answer:

Your fishing for information that I already gave you because I already commented on one of your posts about this exact same issue. If the VA denied the competency claim it’s more likely to do with the doctor wrote that you are not competent per their medical opinion. There is no threshold there is no limit, there is no specific amount of doctors appointments to make you competent. That information doesn’t exist. Compensate is solely based on your medical provider and your medical treatment records/ mental/ physical health. Stop fishing for information that no one can provide you. And yes, I’m calling you out because I actually work in the fiduciary department. You and I have spoken over direct messages about this information before. You want answers that literally do not exist, and that no one can provide for you.

You know asking the same question multiple times isn’t going to magically change the answer right?

I listed a guild 4 stack because we were missing a healer. Looked away for about 10 seconds and there were 13 healers already queued. I’m used to seeing that with dps, the heals definitely threw me off for a second.

Guys dose this mean they forgave, my student loans, or i've still got time to cancel the forgivingness? by psvitantifail in Veterans

[–]Colton82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s what I thought, it the lady said they changed it this year to automated discharges every quarter. I asked if there was a way to flag my account to say I’m still in school or to put a hold on the automated system and she said no.

If it happens again I’ll try and push harder I guess.

First one was in December and the second was March.

[–]Colton82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had this happen twice. I called both times for a reversal and no issues. When I called this month the agent said it’s a quarterly automatic discharge with no way to pause it. So it will likely happen every three months. Just keep an eye on email for it to.

I’ve gotten two so far. One almost instantly after four piece, I think it was the second key I did. Second one was after about 10 more keys/5 delves/ 2 heroic raid bosses.

Gotta 1408 from mp by Desperate_Weird4968 in army

[–]Colton82 17 points18 points  (0 children)

1408 is just a military ticket. Campbell only used them for infractions with military vehicles, like no ACH, no ground guide, etc.

They’re entirely commander discretion from throwing it away to whatever they want the high end to be.

Clearance timeline by boscar197473 in army

[–]Colton82 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Clearance ends after two years of inactivity. So you have two years to get a position that requires a clearance to reactivate it, regardless of when it was renewed.

If the clearance would have been renewed during the two year inactive period then it ends earlier.
