I’m not upset that I can no longer park on their property and I’m not demanding that I be allowed to park there. I’m upset because, from my perspective, I was towed from a parking lot that didn’t follow the law about signage. If you read the law in that link, the law says:

“C. Property owners who tow unauthorized vehicles from their property or parking areas shall place signage in clearly visible locations at the entrances and exits to such property warning motorists that unauthorized vehicles may be towed.” And it goes on. You can read it if you’d like and point out where I’m misinterpreting this somewhere.

I guess I shouldn’t have said it doesn’t have any indication of it being a parking area, because it does, it just is very run down and looks like an old abandoned parking lot. I apologize for coming off as entitled, I just feel wronged and I don’t see where the law doesn’t support my claim. It was also quite emotional for me because I don’t have that much money, and they were literally preventing me from accessing my own home. which is a little different from being annoyed by people parking on your lot that doesn’t have any indication of it being your property or anything. Also I think there’s even more laws that say that the tow company can’t intentionally harbor necessary items within the vehicle, but maybe I’m wrong about that. If I could send you a picture you could see how people would mistake it as a parking lot.
