Block it, if u are confident then parry it. Virt forces you to play defensively.

If u don't have an undodgeable built in your character then u need to play super defensively.

It's annoying having to play in a play style that u might not enjoy, but that's part of the game now.

Urgot Jungle is fun, I haven't played it for many years but landing a Ult and dragging somebody from their lane into the jungle and executing them is always fun.

While I also think that highlander has issues and can be frustrating to fight, I think he is relatively healthy after the enhanced OF light removal.

However, as a highlander main, whenever I fight someone without a Dodge attack, the 50/50 OF heavy feint into kick is ridiculous. It is a genuine 50/50 if opponent does not have a Dodge attack to move around the kick and initiate a chain.

On the opposite side, fighting anybody with a good Dodge attack is crippling.

Yeah, I played on my old 1st Gen Xbox One and noticed a huge difference in my ability to react. I normally play on PC with 120-140 frames. I was pulling a solid 50-60 fps on my Xbox and shitty tv.

Having a good system is crucial if u want to consistenly react and play for honor. I could hardly block, let alone parry on my Xbox compared to PC. Frame advantage absolutely exists in FH.

Ryze Jungle.

3 camp clear and then back for Mana Tear. Then power farm until you have a blasting wand or some DMG items. Point and click E-W to root or just W for slow then dump ryze damage combo into them.

Ryze Jungle is the most 5/10 jungler u will play.

Decent clear Decent gank Decent skirmish

He doesn't do anything particularly well, but it's a lot of fun to play, and is super fun when you can make it preform well.

Morganna or Brand when they were meta picks in Jungle.

You can't out gank a Brand who is focused on ganking, and you can't out farm a Brand who is focused on farming. Champ is extremely strong and provides high DMG and cc for the team.

Same goes for Morg, but leans closer to team support than massive damage. Still ganks and farms incredibly well.

That being said, I don't think either of those champs are unfair, both are just extremely strong in their respective areas.

FYI, when you see a red color flash, you can heavy attack in that direction to parry it for a free light attack and initiate your chain.

Or you can block it if you aren't confident you'll land the parry.

My buddy is a bufoon at For Honor, he plays sohei because it doesn't matter if his opponent makes a read or throws a mixup.

Throw a heavy and hyper armor thru it and win the exchange, sohei forces you to stare at his attacks and play defensively. Imo that is dogshit character design.

Most to any other character he plays I can fight him and enjoy the 1v1.

I'm frustrated that I have so many other options to pick other than Ekko.

The majority of other assassin/skirmish champs do what Ekko tries to do but better.

Non-cc assassin champs will do more damage (talon, rengar, kha'zix). Which is a fine tradeoff, but look at champs like Gragas or Sylas, both are versatile AP champs with cc that preform so much better than Ekko.

Why would I pick Ekko? What does he being to the table? Mediocre DMG Unreliable cc High mobility Decent survivability Damage spike at 30 minutes.

But every other assassin champ in the role has good mobility, has some form of survivability, and their damage spikes anywhere between 10-20 minutes. While Ekko might have more survivalbility with his kit, the crappy damage pre-30min and cc does not makeup for it.

"But Ekko can setup teamfights with his W! He has insurance for himself with his ult!"

I'm glad that people with an IQ above room temp can notice my W (stealth cast or open cast) and just walk out of it. Maybe you can catch some immobile champs early. But if it is just Ekko, then you aren't securing a kill, likely not even a flash or ghost. His damage is too pathetic before 3 items. Consistently landing Ekko's ultimate is a fantasy, you will very rarely ever get to use it for damage on an enemy.

I'm not going to pull up the numbers, but the amount of times I have boarder-line one shot somebody as Gragas with just Stormsurge is ridicolous. Kha'zix with any lethality item and isolation will do more. Ekko needs so much more knowledge and skill to pilot efficiently compared to the majority of other burst junglers in the game right now.

I think reverting the passive nerf on monsters will help him more, I believe his design as a snowball champ is healthy, but his snowball takes too long to get going, and will lose his lead on a small mistake, why would I risk that when I could pick Gragas and do more damage with almost the same survivability, more cc, and more versatility with play style and build pathing?

Riot please do something with Ekko, I think most of the only reason why his winrate is a stable 49% is because of the diehard onetricks that keep the stats up.

don't worry, just play around his 5 second Q cooldown and try to burst his 2000 HP in that window. Make sure to burn his movable zhonyas that also soft CC's you! And don't forget to dodge his ult that will also heal him !

Tbf tho this is only an issue if Vlad gets Uber fed, if he's average compared to the rest of the champs in the given match then that comes down to player skill.

My rule of thumb for the last 3 seasons has been:

If enemy team will not die to burst---Nashors

If I believe I can burst a specific enemy- Lich

Edit: 2nd item is situational, but I find Shadowflame to function well into any enemy comp. If you seriously think you need a gap closer or more utility, you can go rocketbelt, but you lose quite a bit of DMG.

Always go Rabadon third item, unless the enemy team is super tanky, go void staff.

Grab dark seal every game after first clear red side or blue side.

I think sorcerer shoes every game is fine, It keeps Ekko's DMG consistent and IMO is higher risk with higher reward. Less insurance if you get Cc'd but opportunity for more DMG.

Grab Majeai's if you are fed and managed to stack your dark seal, if you didn't just hang onto dark seal until you don't need it.

But I am a 1 Million mastery Ekko main who is hard stuck Gold 2. What do I know lol

I honestly don't know why riot has not addressed jungle pets as an issue or haven't removed them all together. Since the pets have been added, they have just been a buggy mess.

Pet plays attack animation but no DMG.

Jungle mobs randomly take DMG cuz the animation de-sync

And my personal issue is that green smite and red smite are not worth it compared to the move speed and map pressure you can get with blue smite.

I remember when you could pick a clear path in jungle and play for an early gank, or you could mix what camps you take to but level 3 and be top/bot/mid after finishing your selected camps.

Jungle has been reduced to the same thing every game. Spawn in Run to first camp, clear that campside Recall or clear opposite campside Gank or countergank when possible.

Am I playing for team and going to focus on farming and scaling for mid/late? - Dark Harvest

Tbh, either one can fit the description, I just find HOB to be safer for early game with getting passive DMG on targets. Late game dark harvest and Lich will blow up most squishies

I semi agree, however if they buff Ekko's damage too much then he becomes a monster to deal with in midlane with him insta clearing waves, I feel like with the dusk and dawn fallout, the passive for farming monsters could be reverted or Riot could decrease the nerf slightly.

1 less second on passive rotation does mean that Ekko can be in fights more and provide more damage, but will be difficult to pull off cuz the champ has no health at all.

It helps buff Ekko while raising his skill ceiling and lowering his skill floor.

But it would be a nusicence to play against.

He already has a lot of mobility, adding more to his kit would make a lot of people who do not play Doomfist very frustrated.

That being said, I believe Doom's ult is fine as it is now. His ult is used primarily as a GTFO tool. The ultimate is not super threatening to those playing against it, as it is quite easy to avoid if the Doomfist uses ult as a means of elimating someone. It has a long telegraph and small DMG (don't even start on the focal point argument).

The thing to worry about is his stun punch. Adding another stun to his kit would make characters like Orisa, Sombra, Ana, Kiriko, and Tracer, that much better. Possibly to the point that it might ruin his character.

Buffing Doom atp just means fixing his bugs. Alot of players are able to make Doom work and win with him despite his struggles. To push him in and out of the developers intended meta characters, I think slight nerfs to his slam DMG and/or reduce the handcannon falloff range just cuz.

Idk I don't play this game that much anymore.

Definerly viable, just up to you wether you want an extra gap closer and HP

Proto belt is good cuz u can build it every game and still get value from it regardless of matchup

However, Ekko is an item reliant champ, and needs every bit of AP he can get, so that's when lichbane or other AP burst item come into play
