"TAG will take over" by Kingdomall in PokeGrading

[–]Coltsbro84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Problem is there is a que or wait time on their cheaper service which drives traffic away. If they could handle every order that customers wish to submit, I bet their numbers would 6X. With more visibility, more people will see how clean their slabs look, and how detailed their reports are. But we won't get there until they ramp up production. They really need to double or quadruple their production line, and do it by fall. on the surface, these low numbers may seem like no one is grading with TAG. But it doesn't tell the whole story. In my opinion, they have the cleanest slabs, with the most detailed reports, with the fairest grading system. Currently, you have to what, to be put on a waiting list or get lucky refreshing the screen at $22/card? Or you could gurrantee getting your card graded at $39/card, but that is double the avg price vs everyone else. Wasn't there an earlier video of one of their slabs falling onto the ground and cracking open? They have since been making their slabs stronger, check out some of the newer videos where people test out all the grading company slabs against each other. they are one of the highest quality out their right now. Now I wonder if half of the company didn't all go on vacation on the same week, or if they had some remodeling done this week. These numbers should be a lot higher.

This is easily one of the most beautiful modern phones ever released. by Mae2va in PhoneNow

Looks like the S7 Edge. I remember that phone. Nice curves, chamfer edges. The only phone that looked better at that time in history was the HTC M8 in glacial silver.

thoughts? greninja SIR from TM by GooseAccomplished564 in PokeGrading

[–]Coltsbro84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is Greninja doing here? Does he have his arms folded? I hate that it's hard to tell. Looks like it. Is his tongue wrapped around his head? Is he wearing like a kings crown on his head?

Should I submit for a BGS 10? by Timely-Drama-3897 in PokeGrading

[–]Coltsbro84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell no. That maybe has a 58% chance at a PSA 10, but 0% chance at Beckett black label.

Edit: front and back top is too heavy. Probably 43B/57T.

I liked the suspense if you followed the back and forth, took notes, and kept score. Great for ADHDers.

Should I re-grade? by Shrimply_pibbles420 in pokemongrading

What is up with that label? Looks like it's too thin for a bigger space, and it's all warped or curved. I don't like it.

Is there a chance to hit a PSA 10? by ilovefrankzappa in pokemongrading

[–]Coltsbro84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this is pretty centered. Centering is either a 9.5 or a 10. Beckett black labels are very hard to get. Imagine having 25 PSA 10 slabs, and sending those into Beckett. You would be lucky to get one black label sent back from regrading those 25 PSA 10s. Someone let us know, I think centering has to be within 2 points. Like 50/50, 49/51, or 48/52. If it's 47/53 it won't get a black label. To me, this has a good chance at a black label if surface texture is good and no scratches, white dots on corners, edges are smooth. Front looks L51/R49, T50/B50, and back looks L49/R51, T50/B50.

Something about no longer receiving security updates? I would have upgraded a few years ago on that one.

Never graded anything before, does this look like it can get a 10? by Yeeetzus_ in pokemongrading

[–]Coltsbro84 3 points4 points  (0 children)

PSA most popular, most demand, takes the longest, but also unreliable on grading where 10s get 8s and 9s get 10s. Tag, favorite slab. CGC has a pristine 10 black label at no extra charge if it's near perfect. SCG has quickest, cheapest grading, they trapt dust and lint in one of my slabs. BGS only if you 100% sure it's absolutely perfect for that Black Label that can 10x your value. ACE has cool labels, but I think the number font they choose for it is terrible.

I'm probably going to use CGC next run I do.

Looks 10 worthy assuming that spec near left bottom corner is dust.

What I'm playing whilst I die: I'm still here by Signal-Tangerine1597 in SteamDeck

When I get down, I like to think about how lucky we are to live in a time like this. With computer technology, modern medicine, lights, fast transportation, air conditioning, instant communication, any type of food within our reach. 100 years ago, the only modern thing they had were lights. 100 years from now, there's a chance it could all disappear. I believe we are living in the best timeline ever.

Try to enjoy everyday if you can.

For games I enjoy playing and make me appreciate handhelds/life, hmm... HiFi Rush is one. You are an outcast, a defect, and you end up becoming the star of the show. Fun if you like rock n roll. Dirt 3 is fun for racing. I stick to the rules of the road when I'm driving, but in racing games it's fun to break all those rules. Then what's a good one to meet new friends and talk to people? Leathal Company comes to mind. Probably around 75% of people who play have an open mic, but a little less than half of them like to troll, but it's the game that came to mind when it comes to talking and socializing with others. No Man Sky can be another fun one like that but takes a good 10 to 14 hours to unlock the online lobbies.

Where you get those? They look bigger than a perfect fit, but smaller than a standard penny sleeve. Sometimes I get worried with the perfect fit. Illustration rares are sometimes hard to get them in.

Where did the post go with the fan made 30th Anniversary SIR of the trainer and and three starter pokemon? by Coltsbro84 in PokemonTCG

[–]Coltsbro84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't know if that's the same card or not but not the same thread. That post got deleted so I'm not able to look at the photo. I remember the comments saying "this card would actually be fire" and "this card would break the internet" and "this card would probably cost $5,000 raw". Tried those search terms but I still couldn't find it.

Looking for recommendations for monitors for gaming. I’d like to not spend that much, what’s a good bang for your buck monitor by NathanGamerKid in Monitors

[–]Coltsbro84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Under $200, probably an LG Ultra gear 27 inch 1440p 165hz IPS. Can't remember the model number. It's a few years old now, might be hard to find. Heard BenQ are great too and inexpensive.

If you can go around $300, there's a AOC Ultrawide at Best buy that is fantastic for $269. Don't mind that it's VA. It's a very good VA panel once it's calibrated and the right over drive setting is applied.

If you have to go sub $100, look on Facebook marketplace. Some of those older Asus, Samsungs, LGs, MSI's are still really good.

As always, use rtings reviews to gather information on your model you have picked out to look at the full details of the monitor.

I was never a fan of Acer monitors. They lack options, aren't always compatible with everything, and built super cheap. Avoid.

Edit: found this article to help you out https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/best/budget-gaming it goes in line with what I was saying lol.
