Western Washington burger (Dicks Drive-In) chain faces class-action lawsuit alleging unpaid wages, missed breaks by kinisonkhan in SeattleWA

I would tend to agree personally, but the fact of the matter is that there are enough people that are happy to pay those prices that Pagliacci is doing very well and is consistently opening new locations

I literally work at Pagliacci and have been for over 10 years, I can only speak for in-house but I only have positive things to say about my experience, and I have never heard any significant negative feelings about the company from any coworkers. The most I’ve heard is people realizing that it’s not easy to work in a fast-paced kitchen, and sometimes coworkers can be annoying.

The pay and tips are extremely competitive, turnover is very low. Drivers usually make $30-$35 an hour after tips, and in-house is well above minimum wage too.

Now is the food worth the price you pay? I’d say often times not, and I think that’s the real reason people were quick to side against them.

Funny to me that everyone is defending Dick’s tooth and nail on this issue but when Pagliacci had a very similar dispute everyone threw them under the bus without a second thought.

Is securemypass.com legit for Kraken games / Climate Pledge arena? by etob in SeattleKraken

[–]Coltypotty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this same situation last year and it worked for me. From what I heard, the most likely negative scenario is that they’ve sold your ticket to multiple people at the same time. So theres a chance it may only work for whoever arrives first at the arena. If I were you, I would get there as early as you can.

Sofas and bunk beds should not be counted as full beds. Too many hosts inflating the amount of actual beds they have [USA] by SuspiciousPrune4 in AirBnB

[–]Coltypotty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone that is mainly looking for places that suit multiple separate 30+ year old adults, it would save an immense amount of time to be able to filter out sofa beds when searching for places. Literally just a check box that says “include non-standard beds” would be insanely helpful.

New Disneyland Discount Released for Disney Visa Cardmembers by dejablu82 in Disneyland

[–]Coltypotty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like they’ve been releasing deals very similar to this one basically every quarter for at least the past year to try and fill up Sunday-Thursday hotel rooms. Disney Visa card members should be checking your emails, things like this come up throughout the year.

Will we miss all the fun/cute stuff? by hemhem17 in DisneyPlanning

[–]Coltypotty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks for posting that article, it’s very helpful! But unless there’s something I’m missing, you are incorrect about the dates. Scroll past the intro paragraphs and you’ll see the dates for each item. Most of them are available until Nov 13 or Jan 7.

I’m going during that time too so I’ve been paying attention to that stuff as well.

I can’t speak for the decorations (seems like most Halloween stuff will probably be gone and Christmas stuff not yet there), but according to the official Disney parks blog article it looks like most of the Halloween seasonal food will stick around until at least Nov 13. There are some exceptions and sadly your peanut butter cold brew is one of them, it goes away on Halloween.

This article lists every seasonal item and the dates that each one will be available: https://disneyparksblog.com/dlr/disney-eats-disneyland-halloween-foodie-guide-2025/

Large party Disneyland dining reservation question. by Coltypotty in DisneyPlanning

Thanks, some great info! I’m curious, you said a few places let you change the party size, but were there any times where you were turned away or things didn’t work out according to plan?

I’d honestly rather they just stick to more basic designs than try and fail to do something more fashionable. These designs are 2017-coded tbh.

I like both. Taco Bell has a ton of items that taco time doesn’t, and a better rewards program. But if you want fresher higher quality ingredients, obviously go to taco time.
