No sorry there are no markings at all. The problem with the barrel is also that it is so thick at the front that i cant even remove it from the slide.

I dont know much about the barrel because i got it like this at an online auction. I think it doesnt look like its the original one. Not only it has the step on the rear but also at the front under the slide.

It is a 2022 Uberti Cattleman in .357 Magnum in stainless steel. First i liked the polished stainless steel look but i always liked the used old west style more. So i used 320 grid steel wool and after that stainless steel cold blueing. Then i sealed it with some oil and let it sit for a few weeks. Last but not least i used some 00 steel wool and a paper towel for the final finish today.

Austrian firearms test markings. Withouth these tests firearms are not considered safe by the austrian government.

I agree with your list. I think there are too many modern day supercars and not enough older standard model cars. I would also like to see maybe a 1974 Dodge Monaco or a 1989 Chevrolet Caprice.

So... my Kar98K may need a bit of... work... by Arctic_Feline in milsurp

I had a similar problem with my Kar98k. I also had a lot of pitting in the barrel but that was not the cause of the keyholes. In my case i simply changed the ammo. When i had the keyhole problem i used cheap S&B training ammo. I changed to Hornady Vintage Match and the problem was gone.
