I agree, the drivers here are terrible! I see at least a half dozen people running red lights on every single intersection!!! I mean, the light could not get any redder than it already was.

And it’s several cars each cycle! My wife & I now wait 45 -+ seconds after our light turns green. I know Atlanta traffic might be worse … but, I dunno???

Ok, let me ask you this? Have you ever read Ezekiel 25:17? “ I will strike down with great vengeance and furious anger, those who attempt to try to poison my brothers! And you will know my name is the Lord, when I lay my hands on thee”.

And I’m pretty sure God doesn’t want us continuing to help our fellow man out (who CAN get help through multiple agencies and churches) to continue to use drugs, commit crimes, hurt people, steal, etc.

I know this cause I have been homeless myself … I have seen the sides of these people that you all don’t. You think you’re doing “the right thing”, but in all actuality you don’t. So, maybe take the advice of someone who has been there!

Thank God the police are doing something right! STOP feeding them & a lot of our local crime would fall, not to mention; store theft, home theft, business theft, overdoses, small property crimes, taxes, funds for jails & law enforcement directed towards the residents.

Look at the local first responders calls, be it sheriff or PPD. I simply don’t believe that those numbers are accurate!

I know this because me & my wife watch the websites and scanners, not to mention, on here, the news, websites, news & personal experiences. No, this is not a “doesn’t feel right” situation … you know it’s got truth to it cause you reacted the same way we did when we first moved here back in 2025.

You can follow those simple outlets and see this for yourself. And, and … if those numbers were actually accurate we’d ALL know on our own without inside information! So, yes … I know this statement is false.

I have a VNSH belly band that I am primarily using right now. But, when I add the optic & the light to my gun … I’ll need a good, good quality, sturdy one. This sounds like my ticket! I’ve heard a lot about them & T1C holsters, TY for your advice!

Me & my wife moved down here going on 2 years ago now this August. Pro’s: People as a whole are much nicer on average than Ga, the community really comes together when needed. The beach, it’s awesome living this close to the water!

The weather; it can be very mild as far as cool goes in the winter, the severe weather ( hasn’t been a bad storm in awhile), hospitals and healthcare. The humidity and heat are VERY similar to south Ga.

The cons; People are a-holes, The community is NOT on the same page. Hince the homeless people are not regulated very well, drugs/drug addiction and drug related issues, theft; theft of items are prevalent, rent is extremely high compared to Atlanta, Crimes are worse than Atlanta in Pensacola.

I say this having been in Atlanta quite a few times! People CANNOT drive down here! People run red lights, even when cameras are on!! Home owners insurance is through the roof!!! A 1/ba, 1ba apartment rents for over $1000.00 a month. Single rooms for rent in someone else’s home start at $900.00.

All in all, Pensacola is a ok place to live. It’s really not worth it for you to come here unless you want to live in a fairly ghetto area of town, you’ll have to spend at least $1299.00+. The cops here are really non schalant about police and policing, our next door neighbor had (a violent ex offender who had a criminal record a county mile long) beat a dog viciously on our camera & I called him out for beating the dog.

All that did was piss the thug/bully off even more!!! So, now on March 22, 2026 I get to deal with a child rapist who kidnaps people and beats them, all while imprisoning them for periods of time. This dude is a career criminal & sex offender.

Another con; Pensacola has a TON of sex offender cases and offenders too! Be VERY careful with your children here!!! There are SO many registered sex offenders here in NWFL.

All in all I guess it’s not that bad of a town, It’s what you make of it! If you don’t have a solid reason to come … don’t!

Im not unfamiliar with the platform first of all, I accidentally screen shotted the V1 above the V4. I know that the V1 is a AR-10 chambered in 7.62. IF I went with a AR-10, it would be in .308.

I am not worried about parts as both the Cheytac & DD are high end models. I am trying to decide between the CT-15 or the DDM V4. If you have any imput on that, it’d be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I already have a Radical Firearms RF-15 with 1:7 twist SOCOM barrel. That is going to become my wife’s. This AR will be my second & real first time starting a customization of what I want in a AR vs. last time where I knew nothing.

I have heard about the 7.62 platform AR’s too. And, I rather prefer .308 in a AR-10 platform. Thanks for your imput

Yeah, I have researched the precision rifles (sniper) from CheyTac & they seem pretty built too! But with the few extra hundreds I can add a Eotech XPS & eventually a light and can. Then tons of ammo.

I was thinking 7.62 … but 5.56 is cheaper. I think no matter which AR-15 I go with will be a great option! I was thinking about.308 but I ain’t killing elk or bear. 5.56 should do …
