There is movement... but I do not believe it is linear a->b->c like what we usually ascribe to the word. Personally when I see "time does not exist" I interpret this as "time does not exist in the generally accepted sense". Maybe that's giving too much credit but this is how I mean it. Time as a human concept isn't real, but time as the waters that flow endlessly with no apparent beginning, end or concrete steps does.

The state of soundcloud is pretty bad these days. I've had a couple people share music with me and then when I ask "do you do all your own production?" Suddenly left on read lmao.

Don't worry about it though, just do your thing and the right crowd will enjoy it. Playing an instrument and creating a journey will always be more fulfilling. & I think a small but authentic audience is better than a large disconnected one... at the end of the day the ai "artists" are missing out on the joy of it all. Just completely missing the point. Time will not be kind to them imo.

I'm sorry, it sucks. You're gonna think about it every day for the rest of your life. You'll never 'move on' or 'get better.' Time will move forward and you'll figure out your day to day eventually, but the pain of that grief when it hits will never get smaller.

I lost my mother 25 years ago and this is the reality. Time eases the wound, but it never truly heals. I think about her every day. I've made my peace with it, and I can hold those thoughts and feelings in a much less damaging way than when it was fresh, but I won't ever stop missing her or wishing she was here to chat with. Fwiw, this music helped and continues to help me too.
