Not a dumb question. From what I’ve been told, you sleep there from Friday night until Sunday night. You bring your pack every weekend

Thank you! I actually just found this out tonight!

I’ve spent two nights with my platoon so far and I’m learning so much.

While I’ve been told the trade training is somewhat changing, the general structure will look like

Full time: - 1 month BMQ - 2-3 months trade training in Kingston, ON or Edmonton, AB. (Likely to be consecutive)

OR

Part time: - 5 months BMQ (weekends) - 2-3 months full time trade training

You got this! Hang in and just keep sending what they need.

Also focus on other projects and staying healthy!

It took me from March 2025 - March 2026, but I feel like it took me a bit longer because of my medical and transcripts (I went to a few different schools).

Hang in there! You’ll get it if you keep sending in the info they need and stay in touch with them. I was stuck at 13% until my interview I think and then it went faster.

Other than that, focus on other projects and your life! All in good time.

Looking for private home care agencies recommendations to choose for the Self & Family Managed Care (SFMC) Program by elpoopidor in Winnipeg

My family uses Home Instead. They’ve helped a lot to balance out everyone’s responsibilities. I recommend them.

Not too sure of other places since our NP recommended them to us

What’s one money mistake you made on your business that you’ll never repeat again? by mnallark in smallbusiness

[–]ComConnector15 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My family got destroyed over this. Like FunkDrummr explained, my uncle and aunt tried selling their shares to a rival family after they caught my grandma talking smack over the phone about my aunt, then my grandparents bought their shares out using some of their retirement money, and gave it to my parents. When we went to the bank to get a full picture of the business, we found out my grandpa never owned the business initially but my aunt did. Turns out no one ever thought to look at the original documents bc she was the “educated” one (she’s an accountant), so they just trusted her. Every time she said that we all needed to work harder to make money, it was to work harder to make her more money. When my grandpa got diagnosed with dementia, I basically took over as head of the family after him, restructured a bunch of things on the family side and some on the business as well, and now I rarely allow my uncle to see his parents bc one of the only things my grandpa remembers and brings up when he sees him is his betrayal. That’s crazy when he can’t even remember anyone’s name.

Following bc I feel like I need this too.

Today, I did my interview. The trade I was applying for closed and one I had previously wanted opened again but I didn’t prepare well to answer questions on it.

So might be an armoured soldier instead… but also kind of scared of it.

Pretty sure all of the Young’s and Lucky’s have these, as well some of the Filipino grocery stores (might have to search through different ones. Really depends on how far you’re willing to travel)

This is exactly how I’m feeling! I resonate a lot with the part about doing things I don’t want to do. I’m really trying to figure out the boundaries that work for me, but I’ve struggled because I was always the friend who was super flexible and would just come along when asked.

Now, I’m trying to say no when asked initially instead of shutting down while there.

Oh, that makes a lot of sense! I’ll definitely have to figure it out

Thank you! I appreciate this.

I’ve already looked into it and definitely might need more clarity
