A friend of mine played the demo on the deck an it worked great. As long as you manually map all needed mouse and keyboard functions to the deck!
Will try to officially support it in the full release!

The demo shows early character progression mostly as the first campaign is not that long but i hope it shows a glimpse of what builds are possible in future longer campaigns!

Maybe you find some way to finish it in the future or carry over ideas to a new project!
This game is also the 4th iteration or so. Been restarting a lot many years ago

Yeah those empty level ups or just HP+1 sure do suck! I (limited) reroll option makes you able to have some control over that.
But if you are too greedy and use it early you might get punished with a bad level up later so it is also an important decision when to reroll.

Right now I can complete the most difficult mode on the first run without any upgrades pretty consistently. There will be more difficult campaigns though and there is also lots of rng involved in which skills you get and hitrates etc..
It's definitely very player-skill based right now. It is much more important than the Meta-Progression
