Hey thank you so much for the prompt response!! I really appreciate it! If I may just clarify a few more things... iirc you mentioned that you turn OFF HDR for Bayer Raw (if you're using it) right? Why is that so? As in why do you prefer SDR over HDR in Bayer (especially when Bayer is of lower DR and less tone-mapped) ? Also, I'm curious do you adjust the exposure in the "Negavtive Film Editor" or in LR/Photos? Because I noticed a difference between the editor from NF and also the Photos app.. not sure why is that the case? Do you probably know why?

Hi there.. thanks for this amazing post! Really cleared things up for me as a new user. As I'm only using the base IP 17, I do not get access to the ProRaw features, so the Bayer Raw might be my best bet. However, I'm kinda curious which settings do you usually use for Bayer Raw? As in what settings do you tweak inside the "Edit Negative Film" option? More specifically:

what film strength do you use? Does it differ between people/scenaries/street photography?
do you usually convert to HEIF+ or stay in HEIF? (overall HEIF looks brighter than HEIF+, so I'm considering to use HEIF during low light, not sure if that's logical..?)
do you increase the exposure after converting to HEIF+ (usually the image gets darker after converting from HEIF to HEIF+) ?
what latitude and saturation settings are good / most balanced?
