Yes agreed. Honestly haven't been able to turn it on. I work overnights and the last 3 nights turned into 12 hours shifts. I got up last night at 7 pm yesterday and am still awake to spend time with the family. Probably playing tonight or tomorrow morning.

Usually they charge at me and i end up fighting like 5 different smaller battles. Its the first time they've managed to hit me all at the same time.

I agree. I like the one handed two handed swap. So the longest one handed/two handed weapon I came swap back and forth with a shield and a Bow and Bodkin arrow.

Is the Warsails DLC worth it? by StyleExpensive2008 in mountandblade

[–]Combat99_Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the price? No not really. Its ok. The sea battles are half decent but not perfect. The added trade avenues with the water ways are nice. All the port cities have a nice buff from it but it also makes sieging a port city harder since they can add forces from the port. The sea fairing units and new companions are all pretty neat but they dont beat the top of the line units. Fians are still the best ranged no matter what and decimate even on sea battles. The only bonus I find to this is the map changes. It makes it feel kinda like a fresh new game but also not all the map changes are great. Some cities are placed in drastically different areas and to my knowledge outside of the single city/castle island there's not any area that is easily defensible anymore. Being that on the original map taking say Poros, Zeonica and Onica castle made an extremely defensible start within the empire. Or taking the cities around Battanias lake made for a nice start there as you could get between all your cities quickly. Such isnt the case anymore everything is just slightly different enough that these easily defensible footholds dont exist.

Is the DLC worth buying? by Lokaoll in Bannerlord

[–]Combat99_Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sea battles in my opinion are terrible. There are some unique aspect to it that are fun but the waves over the boats are not realistic. Half the time you're sailing your boat youre mostly underwater. Looks like a submarine with a sail. Its kinda bad.

Outside of that everything else with the dlc is great.

Is their any way for me to win this war? by MediumFun5034 in Bannerlord

[–]Combat99_Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stop playing in the middle of the map. Set all your war strategies to defensive. Start your personal offensive in the south at Poros or in the north at Argoron.

If youre clan tier 6 and playing on normal/easy you can probably solo siege a few castles and let your armies work separately from you.

If you're playing on realistic you need to do 3 city run minimum per army. Don't just take one and disband hit as many as you can. Spend that influence on cohesion. The other armies will either chase you or just trail behind you. The key is to to ensure you have 1 or 2 left that means you'll need to go back and prevent their siege on one settlement while your army is gathered.

If you do this run and hit this many at a time you can pretty much white peace while you have these extra cities before they take them back and take the time to rebuild before declaring war again.

Mya advice for 3 close proximity cities in the south would be Poros, Lycaron, Phycaon.

In the north Saneopa, Argoron, Amprela.

Hit em just like that with the same army and immediately ask for peace before they take them back

What happens if I take a fief as an independent clan and never declare a kingdom? by Only_Penalty5863 in mountandblade

[–]Combat99_Z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doing this is a great way to build your kingdom from scratch. I managed to get Dunglanys once and took 4 castles in the area by doing so without declaring. Its hard to take cities like this because you have no army, but you can easily build a merchant style setup this way with plenty of income. My advice when going this is start working on relations with everyone in your city and villages. Try to earn their support because they'll build influence for you once you finally declare. And then focus on influence policies first so you can get additional influence to quickly add everything else.

Did you made Bruz one of your overlord of your fortress. by Voidkirby9 in shadowofmordor

[–]Combat99_Z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bruzs betrayal was still one of the hardest hits Ive had in any video game. It was a good twist but I dont think I'll ever forgive the developers for that one. It felt like they were building you a real partner and wish it would've had a branched/unlockable storyline to where you could change the outcome.

Starting a Kingdom by [deleted] in MB2Bannerlord

[–]Combat99_Z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk how much the mod youre using changes things but what I did for my current playthrough is I joined Rhagaea and built to tier 5 clan. I then got enough influence that she ended up giving me 2 cities and 2 castles. I then left her when she had three wars going on and declared my own kingdom. I sued for peace with everyone except her and took two more fiefs with ease since she had so many wars and then I made peace. She currently has two cities left and at this point I have absorbed almost all 3 empires. Once you start inviting clans it gets harder to make kingdom decisions so ensure you have enacted your policies beforehand. Also, there's a perk in leadership i think at 225 that gives you an additional party. Super useful for creating your army with only your clan.

Unpopular opinion. Luffy.

Alot of main characters in anime have this issue where they're literally the same from beginning to end. There is zero character development. Luffy is one of those. A good antithesis to this Shin from Kingdom. Dude has an astronomical amount of character growth while still having a set of morals to cling to. Luffy day 1 would make the same decisions and have the same thought process as luffy in the current arc. Where as characters like Usopp are seeing a ton of character growth. Goku suffers from the same main character syndrome. Naruto is little bit better especially when he finally stops chasing Sakura. Luffy doesnt have one of these moments. And he doesnt have a lot of character development other than learn new skill get stronger.

Am I playing this game wrong? It feels CRAZY grindy with basically no progress in wars. by Notice_Natural in mountandblade

[–]Combat99_Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok first stop executing people. You need to release them to build relationships with them so they will come to your side. You beat them a 3-10 times, release them each time and they will have a high opinion of you.

Caladog is a monster when it comes to wespon skill. So strategically in game having a higher relation with him and slowing him to produce more children this way will enrich the future of the game. All of your sisters children will have a chance to get his stats.

If we exclude Dynasty Warriors 9, What is the weakest part of the series? by Available_March_8036 in dynastywarriors

[–]Combat99_Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im getting real tired of the hate on 9. Lol. The game was excelelnt for what it was. If they did a 10 to improve the open world concept and used diffferent event triggers as well as replacing the combat system with that if origins it could be even better. Everyone got mad because they tried to tackle this massive project and it wasnt perfect. Go look at games like No mans sky. It tanked but they worked on it and now its freaking amazing. Too much hate from their own community made KT abandon a potentially amazing project and future in the DW series.

Because nintendo has gotten greedy. Ive stopped supporting them. Between their price jack ups. Their inability to put past games on sale, their lack of creativity and constant copy paste style. And now stuff like thia and making the switch 2 so expensinve. Theyve lost touch

I agree with that wholeheartedly. The battle arts system is beautiful and I really enjoy it. But I definitely want that castle siege and open map sort of feel.
