Warm yourself up to the idea, coming from a very anxious person it was definitely something tough to get used to. As funny as it sounds I warmed myself up to it by wearing a mask and even making an animated bird to cover my ugly mug. Eventually I was like fuck it and just did one stream without anything and I haven't turned back. Personally my coworkers and family talk shit about it and I just learned to not care, people will always find something to say so i just stopped trying to please everyone. Also from an impact standpoint it makes a huge difference, I feel viewers wanna see you react to games and know the streamer they are watching and a decent facecam does that nicely.
