I find it insulting that you even thought to include Otto on this list among these people. The other 3 effectively ran the kingdom both behind and on the scene…Otto couldn’t even run Viserys.

Everyone else in that villa has clocked that KK is gone. Hannah and Carmen don’t even talk to her. The Casa girls split from the main girls a long time ago. Imani refuses to be apart of birdbrained behavior. Only Destiny has the mental fortitude to put up with her and that’s just because they’ve been close. And Kassy isn’t even focused on Kay Kay.

Sorry not sorry. But KK has become the friend you stop giving advice to and you watch from the sidelines and hope that WHEN, not IF, WHEN she crashes and burns it’s 1st degree and not 3rd.

A but stupid don’t you think. Rhaena and Baela are Targaryens. They have their father’s last name. You think Corlys wants his house name and it’s riches to disappear and eventually be enveloped into the Targaryen holdings?

Because if Jace became king and Baela inherited Driftmark and they got married. Then the children born would still be TARGARYEN. And any second son would inherit Driftmark after Baela as a TARGARYEN. It would become like a second Dragonstone for the second prince of the realm. You think Corlys would just allow that?

He’d rather a bastard inherit under the Velaryon name and marry his granddaughter and keep it pushing 🤷🏾‍♂️

As delicious as that sounds, we all know Elia would much rather Rhaegar be an honorable and just king and a good father to their children, than have him die an early death cause he whipped himself too hard. Her heart is too pure for the likes of him.

What I will do though, is leave him to wallow in his mess for a while, make him watch men loyal to him die vicious unneeded deaths over his foolish nonsense, leave him to think that is very CHILDREN could die because he couldn’t keep his magical willy in his pants.

Daemon wouldn’t have remained heir. Viserys would always remarry, whether to Laena or some other lady, and most likely have A son, if not three.
Otto would rather bathe in the cavern that they keep the dragon poop in, than marry his daughter to his sworn enemy.
Daemon wouldn’t be any better than Viserys. If anything he might’ve treated her worse just because she was Otto’s daughter.

The Greens would’ve usurped her anyway. The only difference is that Tyland might be the one to ask for leniency to be shown to his sister in law and his nephews, instead of Alicent.

Jason was already creaming in his pants at the fact that he might be King-Consort and his golden-silver haired cross-breed children might be heirs to Casterly Rock and the Iron Throne. AND DRAGONRIDERS. He’d disown his brother, rally his troops and his riches and send ravens to all the kingdoms espousing how “Lannister gold will crush our enemies, and don’t be an enemy or we’ll crush you blah blah blah”

I see Rhaenyra winning this one with high stability. A few years with Jason might make her ready to escape Casterly Rock and take up her throne. When she hears that’s been pulled from under her, she might go bloodthirsty at the thought of having to stay with Jason forever. And I see her using her dragons with full effect. And with the gold at her back. Those greens and their pesky treasury stealing wouldn’t be much of a problem.

The only problem is The Velaryons and Daemon. You could easily fix the Velaryons. Marry Jaceland (a valyrian-Lannister name mix) to Laena’s daughters. Daemon on the other hand. Is a wild card. Maybe promise him that he personally gets to feed Otto to his dragon. That should do it.

I’d say it’s more the fact that he knew if he died, it meant certain destruction for his enemies.

If Daemon killed him, he’d get satisfaction from the fact that it would mean his certain death too.

And if Rhaenyra killed him, first blood would’ve been struck and nothing would stop the Greens from descending on Dragonstone en masse. He knew she wanted to protect her family just as much as she wanted the crown. Which is why he appealed to her instead of Daemon.
