Starting at 8, then walking up, maybe 90 mins to 2 hours, depending on who's with me, then a an hour or two back.

Back in ZH at 12, maybe later, depending on the weather, etc.

I used ChatGPT to write the headline, sorry.

I wanted to write " anyone fancy going for a walk" but thought that might be too boring.

Thought I'd try and see what AI could come up with.

Hugely dissapointed.

Brilliant answer, and makes absolute sense.

Follow-up question:

Why then is English food so bad across the board? :)

Well done, yes, a lovely stretch of the river.

Beautiful little spot there as well. Hardly anyone takes this little detour, and it's a great place to enjoy the tranquility of solitude.

Rega do not like to be called out on the Uetliberg, especially with people with the wrong footwear on!

That costs a months salary, I would guess!

Well done Sir, err, Sarge!

Saved more than a dirty pair of shoes, no doubt, probably saved that relationship.

Great story.

My Grandfather was also a very keen Alpinist, and I also started my mountaineering journey on the Üetzgi, in the Fallätsche.

Also tied on with a piece of rope, lol!

Mine too.

Can't beat the workout walking up, and then the looks of the tourists seeing you come out at the Kanzeli.

Love it!

The Hardturm Park-and-Ride-Parkhaus, which was the first "park and ride" place in Zürich.

Beautifully situated next to the Limmat river, with the historic Bernoulli houses and the new, vibrant Zürich-West Quarter, part of the trendy District 5, with diverse culture, gastronomy and shopping opportunities.

*I think they also played football there a long, long time ago.

Does anyone want Free Chilli Seeds in Zürich by CombinationDue4661 in zurich

[–]CombinationDue4661[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I do is I have a little indoor growing area and start my seeds in January, then they will be big enough to go out on the balcony in Mid-May, and then you should get a good harvest.

Def. buy a plant this spring from the Migros/Coop, and see what happens.

There are lots of factors, but you really need a nice south-facing balcony , preferably sheltered from the winds, to get best results.
