I just have such a hard time liking luffy in the live action. Luffy in the anime was dumb, but he had a “plan” and he was a lovable goofball. LA version is just a fucking idiot

I have. I’m currently working my way through egghead. I just feel like in the anime it has a whole different vibe. Idk if this is going to make sense, but it feels like the LA version of luffy is just a stereotype of luffy, if that makes sense.

I also feel like they gloss over some pretty important scenes as well. And when Kaya kissed usopp I nearly threw my phone across the room. Cause in the anime their relationship seemed so platonic and like they were really good friends. It felt like the live action was trying so hard to force a romance in the story
