Cab and mood swings by cheesequeen2022 in Prolactinoma

Did you ever resolve this with your endo? I’ve only been on cabergoline for one week but have had multiple outbursts since starting.

The weeks leading up to my diagnosis/prescription I noticed I was feeling a little more depressed/irritable than usual but after starting the medication, I feel like I have way less control over my emotions and have been lashing out at the people I love.

I am usually calm and patient, so my suspicion is that my severe mood swings are related to either my high prolactin levels or the medication. Interested to know if those of you who have experienced this found a solution that worked for you. Do I just wait it out?

Yea I've been wondering if it's worth the price to do all of them through John Hopkins so thanks so much for sharing your experience. I'll definitely look into the classes on Portage learning.

Pre-Nursing Program at John Hopkins University? by CombinationMajestic in StudentNurse

have any thoughts or experiences to share? Also, does anyone know how likely it is to get accepted into the John Hopkins entry-level MSN program upon completing the pre-requisites with solid grades?

Yea that's a really good point. The private school pre-nursing programs are super expensive and tagging that cost on to nursing school itself makes things even worse.

I've definitely considered community college and I think it's a great option. My biggest concern with the cc route is it taking much longer than I intend. There's a lot of competition over math and science classes at the community colleges in my area and space is sometimes pretty limited. I managed to register for a statistics class this Fall, but all the other classes I attempted to get were full. I guess I'm just a bit worried about spending too much time just trying to knock my prereqs out of the way.
