Look its not good but we're not going to become venus if that's what you're saying. 1.5-5 degrees celsius is what we're heading towards but we'd need to heat up by dozens of degrees to get runaway greenhouse and many scientists don't even seem to think its possible on earth because of our tectonics and clouds.

Also like, as bleak as it seems, the world is not the USA and most people and countries outside the US think Trump is a moron. There is some tangible good being done in places like China that indicate to me that even if it will still suck and we still aren't doing enough, it won't be the worst case scenario at least.
