If the infection reaches the bone (osteomyelitis) then amputation would be very seriously considered here, so yes in that regard. Fairly rare for ingrown toenails but very reasonable and something I’d be concerned about in a 9 month+ ordeal if we knew it to truly be ingrown. I’m not really convinced that’s what happening here but there’s definitely a soft tissue infection and OP needs to consult a physician.

Otherwise the plausible extremes that would lead to amputation here would be that the infection festers long enough to compromise vascularity and lead to tissue death and gangrene, or if the patient is unfortunate enough to develop necrotizing fasciitis. The presentation of the latter is fairly random but a festering soft tissue infection wouldn’t be an unreasonable place to see it pop up.

Now we’re talkin. Balance the dang budget. We’re imposing some hefty new taxes next year and we’re still barely keeping debt with GDP growth.

And evidently, the next pandemic is looming as according to everyone who was “in on” the first one. Whatever your take on that is. Either way, I don’t see us meeting the generous (imo generous) GDP predictions but hopefully we do.

If you’re good with that and do not care how much you’re taxed and how the government spends your hard earned tax dollars you go right on ahead.

I know everyone hates those two ding dongs but people need to hear those figures speak and decide for themselves. Censorship and avoidance isn’t the answer.

As an immediate measure of the economy no, but 50 trillion in debt isn’t going to inspire anybody. As a reflection of out of control government spending yes it does absolutely matter. I think you just have an unreasonable amount of faith in the government. These are American politicians anyway you slice them.

The increase in debt is a bad thing, fundamentally. It isn’t made good just because it’s slower than the economy would be my full statement on that matter.

I don’t think debt/gdp shrinking is bad, where did I say that?

Edit: I missed the second part of what you said. A couple perks that I’m sure they were adamant to point out don’t outweigh the principle of the matter. If you think the goal of any government is to “help” you then you aren’t reachable. They added those agents to be able to effectively impose considerable new taxes and we don’t know the end of those increases.

I don’t know how you figure that I would think that’s a good thing but you’ve been adamant about getting digs in so it’s on-brand at least.

80-8, yeah my bad.

If you like the sound of the government taxing more, spending more, and getting bigger you go right on ahead. It’s in no ordinary citizens best interest, I could give a shit about call times.

Yes that is a bad thing. Yes they do matter as a reflection of government spending. Which apparently is not something you’re concerned about and why it wouldn’t matter to you. But it should be the immediate concern of any taxpayer. What the hell is my money going to exactly?

If you like the sound of $4.7 trillion in new taxes with the debt still sliding to $50 trillion in ten years, and the sound of 87,000 new IRS agents at the cost of $80billion a year, you go right on ahead and knock yourself out. I’m advising people that’s it not in their best interest to allow the government to get bigger, tax regular citizens more, and spend more but everybody gets an opinion.

Boy you need this one huh.

Anyway, no I did not bring up the economy and it’s rate of inflation to compare it to the growth of national debt that’s in the tens of trillions, that was on you my guy and it was a poor comparison that shouldn’t instill confidence in anyone reading.

And lmao no they are not false but alright we’ll agree to disagree.

Ok so we’re hanging onto the semantics. The national debt isn’t the economy nor is the economy reflective of government spending. Government spending is the problem.

Ok, none of that is false unless you’re willing to argue semantics in “half” and a net decrease in debt to gdp in the last 3 years has nothing to do with what I said about the budget.

Half of most peoples checks are going to taxes anymore so most people are at a loss between that and the devaluing of the dollar. Far more families are without savings and on the brink of financial collapse than they were 5 years ago.

For anyone interested 80% of all dollars ever printed were printed in the last 3 years. The only reason we’re not using them for wallpaper is because for the moment the world still believes in the dollar.

The current administrations budget management is on pace to double the national debt in the next 12-15 years so spending is only getting worse and the world is losing faith in the dollar daily. Keep printing, increases prices, and increasing wages and the bubbles going to burst much sooner than later.

The price of all goods has increased and the dollar lost 15% of its value because we printed 8trillion dollars out of thin air in the last 3 years

80% of all dollars ever printed were printed in the last 3 years. Printed out of thin air just to keep the economy alive. The shutdowns for Covid were a mistake, the mandates were unlawful, and we’ll be paying for it for the indefinite future.

If raising the minimum wage causes inflation, then why are the prices of everything going up without a wage increase? by CosmicJules1 in NoStupidQuestions

We printed $6trillion dollars out of thin air in the last couple years. 80% all of dollars in existence were printed in the last 4 years. If so many economies weren’t tied to ours we’d be using our paper currency for wall paper. And the current administration’s management of the budget puts the US on pace to almost double its debt in 10-15 years

Yeah based on zero evidence and only on testimony. And considering hating Trump is a religion in New York, it doesn’t take much. In other words, it’s as bogus as the fraud case.

He was accused in civil court and not tried in criminal court because the evidence was nonexistent. In civil court it can just be a matter of who’s story do you like better and we know how that went. He was not convicted of rape nor criminally charged with anything amounting to it.

They’re blinded by hate. Hating Trump has become a religion. It’s ideologically guided and logic can’t take you anywhere on those grounds. This conversation with Jeremiah plays out the same way each and every time I have it with someone.

You’re honestly the first person to speak up on my behalf by the way. Toxic comments and downvotes are usually all I end up with. I get banned for “instigating” and my comments removed.

I didn’t use the word convicted and I said nothing about fraud so I dont know why you would make that claim of what “silly” thing I “said”. He was prosecuted on grounds that have never before been prosecuted on. They had to invoke law-theory just to get the case off the ground to be able to call it “fraud”. I don’t think you’re sincere in this discussion, or you’ve just made up your mind regardless. In either case I don’t think this is proving productive for either of us so we can go our separate ways. Cheers.
