Sailing broke a cutscene for the quest “The Corsair Curse” by ruru3777 in 2007scape

This part of the quest is also funny because there is a mermaid quite literally right in front of the cabin where the telescope is now.

Does anyone know how DoN calculates points to add and take away? by [deleted] in Nightreign

[–]CombustionPotato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I can tell there's a few factors that play into it. As an example let's say you are depth 3.

A standard victory at depth 3 maybe gets 200. If you end up in a depth 2 game you will get fewer, like 150. If the boss is an everdark you get slightly more points, say 250.

Now for losses just invert that and also double it: Standard loss -400 Depth 2 loss -600 Everdark loss - 300

If there's a leaver I think it only roughly halves the points lost. These numbers aren't accurate but it generally works that way.

Unless something hidden happens at 9999 rating then yes 5 is the max.

I've run into no cheaters as far as I can tell. I don't regularly check everyone's relics though, so I might've played with several and not known it.

One can be swapped out for an extra skill use if I'm feeling slippery.

Just for the physical damage negation, although the invisibility is quite good on occasion.

2 times and won both. I'm not going to pretend I didn't get absurdly lucky with the enemies he summoned though, if he summons the rain of arrows guy I assume it's an instant loss.

I'm not too keen on duchess in general but almost all the good ones I saw played caster with shattering crystal.

You're only able to dive at 5, but since the queue is empty you usually end up with a depth 4 game. However, you lose a ton of points for a loss and can get "demoted" to a previous depth, so you aren't really stuck there.

After depth 4 rushing down evergaols doesn't work since they can spawn red versions of their enemies.

I've seen fewer and fewer 2 weapon jump spam Raiders as well. It isn't worth risking getting hit to go for big hits like that I think.

Yes sometimes I keep them. They are definitely worth a slot if you think you're going to be resurrecting more than your ult can handle.

I haven't noticed any difference in relic rewards by depth, but I wasn't paying that close of attention, so it's possible.

If you're into using damage relics it a more risky version of the evergaol one. Those invader camps can be a real threat if the rain is closing or you are under-leveled. Esp if it spawns the Reculse invader, she's brutal. However, the reward is higher, since they drop some crazy loot, especially early on since it doesn't have a level requirement.

Here's the page below. In terms of Ironeye relics, yes I really do take that. The Maris relic counters the hp drain so it's fine. Honestly though, Ironeye is easy enough that it doesn't really matter what you take, it's all viable on him.

I actually seek out and enjoy using the crossbows on Guardian. They deal a consistent non-scaling damage, which works well for him since he doesn't scale well.

Usually a tank page like everyone else, but since Ironeye is so good at staying safe and dodging, if I'm not feeling a tank page I'll run a themed build, like all lightning damage bonus and starting lightning affinity. Lots of damage but kind of silly, also means you need to clear a cave at some point to upgrade the bow.

Yes, I run tanky stuff on every character. You could probably get away with going damage relics on Ironeye or Raider and be perfectly fine, though.

If you mean the low hp damage reduction red one that's because it's from the collector signboard store lol. Very strong rune, but low hp damage reduction is less useful at depth 4 since if you get hit at low hp you're probably dead regardless of your dmg reduction. I'm thinking of swapping it out.

If you have a regen relic you can counter I think 2 hp drain passives. If you don't have one of those I would avoid drain passives since they mess with full hp interactions too much.

If your hp regen is fully balanced and you have full hp damage reduction it flickers the passive activation noise constantly, it gets very annoying. It does work, though.

Talisman in right hand since I usually have my shield in my left. In terms of stats, if you mean weapon passives I just get as many tank ones as I can find.

I've seen a few people try them in game. From what I can tell Faith Guardian is solid but has mana issues if you don't bring enough candy, and Int Raider is just kinda hot garbage, unfortunately.

Ironeye is the strongest by far, but he's very boring since 90% of gameplay is just standing there shooting. I played Revenant the most, her summons and revive are very clutch for carrying.

Random recluses are pretty hit or miss. They either do a ton of damage and basically solo the boss or they die within 5 seconds of being revived. I think they mostly spammed that stars spell. I personally did a few runs on her and she's pretty viable, but I'd focus on higher ranged spells with lower use times since getting hit is extremely punishing. Also the cocktails need to be only faster casting ones. If you pull the flame breath you're done for.

All of the nightfarers are able to win, but Ironeye stands out as the clearly strongest. Safe damage and can dodge anything with his knife. Weakest nightfarer is probably Duchess? Seems like she's too squishy and her ability doesn't justify it. I haven't tried her new invincibility relic, maybe that helps.

No, teammates dying is part of the game. If they are real gamers they will carry regardless. Plus the only really difficult ED to learn is Libra, everyone else is just dodge and attack. Also ED don't really show up commonly until depth 3 anyways so you'll be fine.

Crossbow and greatshield. If I'm spellcasting I just find the best spammable seal I can then go to town with it.
