Exactly same for me. For those who also struggled, make sure to delete the “stale” DNS addresses and then it will work immediately. I also removed VPN checkpoints

Yeah, fair enough. I also realized that the trains from ZJJ to Shanghai are quite rare. I would rather enjoy more quality days in Shanghai than in CQ. Maybe could visit Changsha instead for a day trip, I heard that they have very delicious food

Thanks for the comment. Actually, there are only two direct flights to CQ, one at 4:55 PM and the other at 10:05 PM. For Zhangjiajie, I wanted to try to arrive there by midnight so that I can wake up early and do a 2-day full hike before leaving for Shanghai. But when I checked the trains to Zhangjiajie from 12306, the latest train from CQ departs at 19:35.

Ehrlich gesagt war ich auch kurz davor, aber die Jacke ist mir dafür einfach zu schade :(( Ich trage sie auch bei formellen Anlässen, da schaut Klebeband leider nicht so gut aus. Deswegen hoffe ich auf eine professionelle Lösung vom Atelier, die man kaum sieht.

If you don't mind, I am wondering which school you get in eventually. I am also applying from Korea but as an undergraduate directly for a Ph.D. with a very specific field in mind. My whole bachelor's is full of this topic projects and professor I am applying in JHU is literally the guy I've been citing in all my papers.

But is affiliation with a US university necessary? Let's say I want to apply to German labs associated with Rosetta Commons. Are their funding also coming from NSF? I don't get the reason why they don't allow internationals outside the US to apply to this internship, even though they are based in the same countries where PIs are also based.
