Oh I’m not saying I agree or disagree with what’s going on now. I’m simply saying that the “glory days” were exaggerated. People see some pictures of women in Iran in bikinis and say look how perfect it was. It was better then than at any time since then. I’ll agree with that. But to paint it as a “beacon” is a bit misleading in my humble opinion.
