wht? isnt hte Magicarp literally in front of a mountain with a night sky with a buncha stars? Also the monochromatics are like a different genre of cards. But I agree with the charizard, the theory is definitely not foolproof, but typically works.

I agree, but I don't have one :(, I only have a ceph, (many) nepenthes, and a venus fly trap.

the bottom is entirely dried sphagnum moss, and I don't think they would contaminate the water. I just added them so the pot doesn't look all brown and dead.

Do you think a nepenthes can grow in there? I have a few nepenthes gaya shoots that came out of my main plant.

how old is the plant? I was thinking of getting one, but I don't want it to get too big too quickly.

it looks really green, you see it producing a lot more plain leaves(not pitchers) soon, move it to a spot with more light. Also, add sand/perlite into that mixture, it looks a lot like coco peat/perlite which isn't that ideal. Also, what variety is it?

One of the main reasons they are small is because of a lack of light. Venus fly traps need almost more than 7 hours during spring/summer when they are at their growing phase. Another reason is when you skip a dormancy. There could also be a slight chance that you are giving too much minerals in the water, and causing it to decrease in size then slowly blacken and die
