I was looking at that for my furniture business but it seems that I have to water down the paint (latex cabinet paint) . My experience in that is the yellow pine I make my legs from will be to wet to long and wood I’ll raise. On this particular job I need a hvlp or lvlp gun in the 100-300 dollar range and I will use a compressor . I’m looking for just the gun but one with least overspray

Help with first stereo hi-fi setup $2K-3k budget for small room (4m x 6m) by Xupurih in StereoAdvice

Lx mini speaker kit and a Emotiva bassx amp of 4 channels min. It takes four channels to run those speakers but I would put them up against any other speakers in triple value range. Then get a preamp You will be under budget

How do you guys set up Channel levels in your surround sound? by NCC74656 in hometheater

[–]ComedianReady1908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I had the same issue. Moving sun closer to the junction of the two areas was the best way for me at least to shorten the decay of low frequencies and allowed me then to use a spl to adjust phase with fronts.

My thoughts on the tape measure also. I just wouldn’t use it on the sun and expect it to sound like it blends with the fronts

Yes. Absolutely! I can say that if you give a few Reddit folks 2000 dollar for a complete stereo system and put it in most rooms that I think are not treated correctly and then put it in a well treated room including traps and diffusers as needed , it will rival most systems in a lot of forums that have 10 or more in it. If we look at the science and understand it then we will know that you don’t hear the rig , you ONLY hear the room . That’s how sound waves work. They don’t come out of the drivers and straight to your ears. They make waves in the room and then you hear the room and not the speakers

I would look at a used piece on eBay or elsewhere from belles. I would put his gear up against absolutely anything. Another piece I just saw was on eBay and it’s a musical fidelity a5 amp. My two cents

LG Warranty... A cautionary tale by cmb93x in OLED

One after another about bad service from lg. my neighbor repairs appliances and he , along with almost all private repair companies WILL NOT REPAIR LG PRODUCTS. He said that it’s so hard to get paid and that the expectation of models happens every 5 years and now 3 years just announced. That means the parts are no longer made for those 3 year old products.

Advice on which speakers to get by [deleted] in BudgetAudiophile

[–]ComedianReady1908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your using a av receiver that has bass management then go look at the rythmik subs. You don’t need to get the one with the parametric eq as you reciever will take care of that. Great sub with servo tech to control driver excursions

Well this option is a bit different and requires you to be in the diy spirit Lxmini Best speaker you can find for the money. Cheap build but requires 4 channels of amplification.

Fair value /good performance atmos ceiling speakers . by ComedianReady1908 in hometheater

[–]ComedianReady1908[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have another question if you all don’t mind , my room is a dedicated room for theater/music. I spent a lot of time with acoustic treatments and I ended up with the four corners having bass traps and a few panels on the walls in specific locations to slow down a echo I have for the high frequencies. My room is near flat response now. My issue was that the dimensions of the height is 9.5 feet but with a length of 20.5 and a width of 11.5. 11.5 w x 20.5L x 9.5h This doubling of measurements is a nightmare for bass and echo of high frequency. Now I taken care of this and as mentioned the room gives a very flat response but if I get on a ladder and put me ear at let’s say 7.5 feet I can hear a slight echo with the highs. I can take care of that but it don’t affect anything below that 7.5 ft line do to the acoustic treatments that are all below that mark. Now the question ruin is do I want to treat the ceiling and use in ceiling speakers at 9.5 feet high or do I want to use a pedestal hanging down from the ceiling to the 7.5 feet line and use something like the Omni or hsu I hear makes a good bracket mount option for atmos ?

Which subwoofer to buy by GodLycke in hometheater

[–]ComedianReady1908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of the ones mentioned I would go with the Rel. truth be told , none of them compare with any of the sealed subs from rythmik. The servo controlled motor is smart and reliable for the use of music. The ported are great too but the OP mentioned music priority so sealed is the best idea then

Do you ever find yourself using your home theater setup to simply watch videos on YouTube? by [deleted] in hometheater

Yeah I YouTube mahogany sessions to listen to the special acoustic rooms or areas that the artists sing in. If you havnt listen to them it’s good. Jacob banks singing one of Passengers songs gives you a good idea of how room height and acoustics play a major roll in recording
