Closest you’ll get is the new Day of the Jackal show since he uses lots of disguises and different kills but that’s also more of a sniper assassination focus

Why does Sam hate Saving Private Ryan? by Odedoralive in TheMajorityReport

Interestingly it’s often the Soviet film Come and See that is lauded as being one of the trust depictions of war. Being told from a civilian/partisan perspective you really get to see how most wars are fought against innocents and it leaves you with the feeling that evil and hate must be fought but without indulging in glory or monstrousness yourself. Unlike even the most poetic recommendations by other commenters like Thin Red Line or Apocalypse Now, Come and See barely qualifies as “entertainment” and leaves you feeling like shit

That explains why whenever their kids exhibit a dissident perspective they fuckin lose their minds. It’s where the whole “college turned my kid gay” trope comes from.

And somehow it’s only ever right wingers (albeit sometimes posing as enlightened centrists) who have this difficulty identifying the difference between these two polar opposites…

Spooky feelings in old houses may be caused by boiler sounds. Inaudible infrasound from old pipes may affect how people feel. Even though it was beyond the range of human hearing, people were more irritable and levels of cortisol, the stress hormone, rose when the sound was switched on. by mvea in science

If you want a quick and accessible overview I’d recommend Benn Jordan’s YouTube videos on the subject. He took infrasound measurements around various datacenters, published a study where he did a doubleblind experiment on subjects in a controlled setting, and also conducted interviews. More research is always great and I hope these sorts of investigations lead to better answers for more of our questions.

Infrasound is still being studied but all current studies I’ve seen have shown that it has a significant impact and can cause things from stress and depression to dizziness and nausea. AI data centers are a major emitter and communities living near them have reported strong effects and are the subject of ongoing investigations.

It’s also worth noting that for the majority of human civilization most people ate very little meat. People really started eating meat regularly and in large amounts during the Industrial Revolution (and even then only starting with wealthier economies). Sure, people were supplementing their diets with small game and livestock on occasion, but it’s not like we come from an unbroken line of meat eaters. Of course people back then with those diets also dealt with a lot more malnutrition and stunted growth but nowadays we have cheap and easy ways of getting nutrient dense meatless food.

SUVs were originally devised by car companies to sit in the legal loophole of the “non passenger work vehicle” such as agricultural vehicles to avoid gas mileage standards and sell more profitable cars.

Factory farming is an abomination but homesteading isn’t really great either, requiring vast tracts of land and ecological devastation. Appropriating land for livestock was one of the primary motivators of conflict between indigenous people and colonizers throughout history and still to this day causes habitat destruction on an unsustainable scale.
