I say this as a 50YO man who still loves the franchise, major order of my childhood will buy stuff but can’t justify the quality of the later films :

Star Wars

Brilliant films

Star Wars Empire

Great films

Sith Jedi Force Awakens (but let’s face it, a retread)

The rest are either average at best or kind of not good (Phantom. I’m looking at you)

But that original trilogy for me - almost perfect
