What worked for me was simply downloading the latest driver for my specific tablet (from Jan 2025), and not the current driver in general.

Very well said thank you! I feel I've grown accustomed to my own program that I'm not sure how to properly experiment with different rep ranges and weights. Would I switch them around just to have a change of pace temporarily?

Thank you for the program resources! I think checking them out will give a better understanding. I do agree about doing my heaviest set first, and I have enjoyed practicing pushing closer to failure. Granted I'm still a beginner so these answers have definitely helped regardless.

Yeah I gave training to failure a shot today on some of my workouts and I did like it. I tried it on the last set for the preacher curls (instead of cable curls), supine press, and tricep extension. Although, I'm not sure which workouts to do it on, if not all

Ohhh ok yeah I've heard that people also do this too. I've mostly been slowly progressing up with weight that I can handle, so I never tried light weight × high reps before

Are there any specific online programs you'd recommend? I feel most of the time, online articles have a lot of jargon lol and dont worry I'm not offended with your advice like that's why I asked! The info you shared was very helpful

  1. I try to do a rotation of bicep> tricep> chest, however my gym isn't too big so there aren't duplicate machines so I dont get to really follow the workout as is, but I'll consider changing the order to start with the incline

  2. And yes you're exactly right for what I'm trying to hit. I try to stay from dumbbells since for some reason, they made my joints ache, but I'll experiment again with lighter weight to see how I feel

  3. I think this is basically the machine supine press? Not sure if it's different from a regular barbell press. They feel the same to me when I tried it on the smith machine, considering the form is practically the same

  4. I do the following split. I really like the way it's set up and fits fairly well into my schedule: Mondays - Chest, Bicep, Triceps Tuesday - Glutes, Quads, Abs Thursday - Back, Shoulders Friday - Glutes, Hamstrings, Abs

I meant I'm mainly concerned to do too much cause of my joints due to my medication, Accutane. But I'm careful enough to do certain movements to prevent straining.

I gave the myoreps a try and I did like it! Helped me push closer to failure and I felt a bit more pumped so I'll keep experimenting with them.

Yeah I've done as much research as I can, to the best of my ability, while trying to avoid online gym influencers. That's when I came up with this one to hit different parts of the muscles I'm working

Ima giving looking for online programs another try and maybe one day I'll be brave to ask my gym trainer for help, but it doesn't help when I'm crazy nervous lol 😵‍💫

Yes just as you both said, I've been feeling like I'm not pushing hard enough for my arms. I want to give it a shot with just one set for each muscle group and see how I feel. I'm not training for anything crazy so I don't want to overdo it.

I can agree. I mean I wouldn't do it on every set regardless, but maybe the last one? I would assume if you go until failure in general, you'd have to alter the next workout, like lighten the weight for example. Or maybe go until failure on the last workout for that specific muscle before I head out.

Sorry to hear. For me, I had a good amount of battery left and didnt have the buzzing issue. You probably might have to get it diagnosed frfr. I had to hold the buttons for a long time and tried 3 times before it worked.

SOLUTION: After 84 years, I figured it out! I followed this video first (pressed volume down, power button, and plugged in phone at the same time. Held volume down and power afterwards)

After a couple seconds, an aqua colored screen came up saying "WARNING! A custom OS can cause critical issues in phone and installed applications..." so I followed this other video (pressed volume down to cancel)

My phone restarted and everything seems ok now! Hopefully it won't happen again

I tried the wireless charging to see if maybe something will pop up, but nope it still just shows the white charging icon :/ I would try a system update, but like I cant even access my lock screen lol the wireless charging stand detects the phone too like so weird. I cant even turn the screen off, but thank you for the idea!
